Major, awhile back you posted about the WLM/child account issues that happened after the major dashboard update and that things were being looked into. Why hasn't there been any word as to what's going on and if (and when) things may get fixed.
I am also wondering this Tyl0n as I'm an 18 year old playing on a child's account...... This really needs to be addressed...

Gee, I sure would like to play my Xbox this weekend, but the damn thing died on me Tuesday, and customer support is saying my serial # of my system is registered to someone in CANADA, when I live in the US. Now I have to wait a week to hear back about the 'investigation' they're doing, which means quite a bit of lost time for a service I pay for, and no more Halo 3 beta pretty much. Such shenenagins....
OH BOY! Too bad I'll be outside this weekend having a life.
This whole thing is just a scam from Ubisoft trying to force yet more people to buy their overpriced DLC for a game that's doing poorly.
Read the latest comments from Ubisoft's head and you'll see - it's all about forcing people to buy so they can continue to play.

There's nothing in the official rules that says you need to buy the DLC to enter the contest..Just that you need to play at least one multiplayer GRAW 2 game.

You do have to have the "Throwback Map Pack" to play. If you play normal maps, it will not count. This contest is based on the Throwback maps only.

For those of you complaining about the contest being US only, stop. Major Nelson works at the US Xbox HQ, so it stands to reason he's primarily going to report on US Xbox promotions and events.
Other territories have plenty of region-specific contest and promotions. Go to xbox.com, click on "International" at the top and select your region. Stop bothering us about it.

And it's so true about the word-of-mouth. My cousin whose 10-year old school friends know almost nothing about the 360 and are all about Playstation still know damn well that the 360's fail left and right and are the worst hardware quality a console has ever seen.
I can rebut almost any Sony fanboy hype with hard facts about the greatness of xbox, but that I cant.
