Nice one, good to see Microsoft doing something like this!

"Will we ever see games permanently lowering in price?"

One step at a time!  MS doing it at all is a nice page turner.

Hey guys! I read all the complaints about people wanting Bankshot Billiards and how expensive it is. I have a code for a free download that came with my Xbox Live membership and, since I already have the game, it's up for grabs for anyone who wants it. E-mail me at scorer_98@yahoo.com and I'll give it to you.

good to see some price drops even if they are only temporary! seeing as most of the arcade games seem to be slightly over priced as it is i hope this kind of thing will continue for ALL the games in the months to come!

You know this would be great if I had my 360, (Waiting for #5 to be delivered via UPS snailmail. I have not had a working 1 since May) what sucks is I can't even buy these online in hope of playing them one day. Yet another deal that I've lost out too, I got accepted into the COD4 beta, I wonder if I'll actually get a chance to play it, I missed out completely on the Halo 3 Beta, even though I spent my good money to buy Crackdown, just to play!! Sorry sour grapes, but I think I'm the poster child for 360 service screw ups.

Snagged Dig Dug in order to encourage such 'sale' weekends; I'm sure David Edery and co. are watching the reaction closely. Still agree XBLA needs a "platinum hits" series of reduced cost games, but as FaultyChip said, this is a small step in the right direction... Also getting excited about the "Sonic 2" rumours - great game for kids to play co-op...

"Also getting excited about the "Sonic 2" rumours - great game for kids to play co-op..." It isn't just a rumor, I got the XBOX FLASH email saying that Sonic 2 was the arcade Family game of the month. So, obviously it IS coming this month. Definitely will buy that one for nostalgia. I also picked up Zuma. Thank goodness Microsoft finally realized that putting something on sale at half price is a smart thing to do. I might not have ever purchased Zuma if it weren't at the sale price. Good job.

Is it weird that 2 year old arcade games are still the same price. I understand it is little different than pricing a retail game, but these games age and at some point the prices should reflect this.
