This sounds good bungie seems very talented so i'm sure whatever games they make will be a sucess,besides i think 3 halo chapters is quite enough to please the halo community.

So, what does this makes any changes ? More creative freedom? They get to decide on which game they get to work with? They keep working on MS's platform? Hardly any changes here ?
So, can you explain to me what that actually means, Major? Is Bungie still going to be making exclusive games for the 360 and other xbox brands. From what i read, it just seems to be the same as before.....

Details? What details? The PR merely says that MS and Bungie will continue on a path to let Bungie go indie again, as rumored. Best of luck to the Bungie crew-- I've been a fan since playing Pathways against the rest of my dorm :)

Not a good month for Microsoft when it comes to losing developers....
Is it just me, or is this "New relationship" basically Bungie leaving Microsoft and going back to being independant developers, working on multiple platforms, while Microsoft keep the rights to the "halo" IP?
Basically, now the partnership agreement has run out of time, Bungie are leaving, and Microsoft just keep the rights to Halo.

How long is long term, 5, 10 years? This can only help Bungie and hurt MS and the xbox....bad vibes here.
Bungie did great games without Microsoft, there´s no reason why that can´t continue to be true.

Bungie is obviously on their way to World Domination. They just need to earn a little more money before they can buy MS Game Studios.
Why?
It's not like Microsoft was chocking Bungie's creativity to death. They even got their own separate office!
Halo 3 was awesome! What does MS have to gain?
It will be interesting to see if they make games for multiplatforms...
This might be a really good idea to let them free but it might turn our horrible in the end. but I guess Microsoft still owns 50 something % of Bungie...

In the end this is probably good for both sides, because what would Bungie be worth if all the creative heads left the studio. This means more Halo and new IPs, which will be published by Microsoft. Maybe now Bungie gets a bit more of the profit, but Microsoft should be able to deal with that =)
I don't like this one bit, bungie is an awesome company I have no doubt in my mind that they could make a sick game on the PS3 if they wanted to. Microsoft you are now walking on egg shells!
