Having trouble trying to get this game, keep receiving the message "Can't retrieve information from xbox live. please try again later, status code 8015000a".
Yeah, that tends to happen sometimes, just keep trying constantly and it will eventually get through.
it figures that my console would get the 3 rings of death yesterday :(
now im gonna miss the free download, only good news is it was still covered

Also, still constantly getting cannot retrieve information from xbox live for many bits on the marketplace - and getting disconnected randomly from messenger every 20 minutes - its a bit of a joke that xbox live still isn't working properly, nearly 31 days since the original problems. Fix it please :(

I stiill think it's unfair that Silver are being given the same compensation as Gold members.Gold

I don't plan on dowloading Undertow and being a hypocrate, since i didn't think the game was very good too begin with.
If anyhing like this is offered again for whatever reason, at least be fair and give people a choice.
I am trying to download the undertow game and the Fall of liberty demo but i still get errors any help major would be great.
It's a little disappointing that the free download is limited to a five day window. It's supposed to be a bonus due to XBOX Live's downtime/success (pick one), but the short window curtails the likelihood people will notice and get it. Why wouldn't it run wednesday to wednesday?
Also, way to break the Arcade Wednesday streak, with a "featured" game instead of a "new" game. Does this set an example for later, when "greatest hits" become the "featured" games of a week, rather than new content?

Major, what happens to those of us who have consoles that are in for repair that we wont be getting back until after the game is no longer free. Mine has finally died on monday as is being sent off, but at the same time i have put up with shoddy live since december until it finally popped its clogs. Will we still receive the game?

Game store > Xbox Live Arcade > All Arcade Downloads > Undertow

How many Microsoft employees here? - hands up! - I think some just wish they were or have been bribed to support them :)
SGT Pepper1977 and others who have addressed me directly - sure, I appreciate the problems in IT. I am a programmer .NET and know what it is like but seriously, if anyone is supposed to practice what they preach it is Microsoft. To be honest I think there are a bunch of very soft people here defending a massive company that still is failing in many respects. As I have said I would like to be more supportive and at the very least justify my investment. So yeah I know people are getting sick of this but live is still having issues - yesterday morning I couldn't get on live, last week a few friends lost online game saves across several games and didn't get them back - so live isn't fixed properly yet. Where else is this heard any way? I am not posting to piss you all and am not being aggressive towards anyone but simply expressing an opinion. If you disagree with expressing an opinion and standing up for others then I'm not sure what you stand for.
The game should probably be on the Game Store's Spotlight, where everyone can get to it fast and easily. At the moment you have to dig through the XBL Arcade to actually find it first.
