This week on Arcade: Bullwinkle and Battlezone

This week on Arcade: Bullwinkle and Battlezone

Rocky & Bullwinkle and the arcade classic Battlezone will hit Arcade this Wednesday. R&B will be 800 points, while Battlezone will be 400.

Edit: My understanding is that both titles will be available world wide, except for Battlezone which will not be available in Japan and Korea.

BattleZone maybe... R&B I'll definitely pass on (though I did like the R&B Pinball table for Pinball FX). I'm still waiting for the real creativity we should be seeing on the Arcade. The size is certainly not the problem. If you remember, Nintendo's cartridge size for the N64 was WAY smaller than what's allowed on Arcade. There were some fantastic N64 games that would make killer arcade titles. Even if they were not direct ports, it shows that size is not the limitation when the creators exercise just a bit of imagination.

Wait, BATTLEZONE!? Where did this come from!? I assume it's the enhanced version they showed along with the other Atarin enhanced games we've seen on XBLA. VERY cool. I hope it controls well.

Can you confirm if both of these titles will be available in the UK Major? Both look interesting but I know Rocky & Bullwinkle is more of an American cartoon that we don't really get over here, so I was thinking it may be US only like Spongebob Squarepants.
