Next Monday (April 21st) two new titles will be added to the Xbox Originals catalog: Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Metal Arms – Glitch in the System. Both will be available for 1200 points each in all Xbox LIVE regions except Korea (SC and MA) and Japan (MA.)
Edit: Corrected a title.
What about Pandora Tomorrow? That was the best one in my opinion.
Very VERY VERY interested in CT... can I play the co-op and the MP for it?
Spelt it wrong! :D
W00t! SPCT
Fantastic but what about the Ninja Gaiden II "Exclusive Content" that was due today :(
Awesome! Spliter Cell!
No, we never live down the tiny things here in internet land. Good stuff though! I've heard some great things about Metal Arms, so I'd like to see how it stands the test of time. Ninja Gaiden and Black did suprisingly well, though one more than the other.
Do they both support Pal-60?
Metal Arms is an awesome game, but I remember picking it up NEW at Best Buy for $4.99. If you check your local EB/GameStop used sections you're bound to find it very cheap. $15 is a bit much. If the Xbox Originals price goes to $10 I bet many more would purchase them.
Major, I believe the correct name for Metal Arms is Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. Loved that game :)
Yeah, that whole five dollars is going to make or break my budget. How am I ever going to feed myself off bread crumbs following such a hefty purchase?
BioSnark: At least Chaos Theory supports PAL-60, don't know about Metal Arms though.

@ Seleste
It's not a matter of the $5, it's about how much people are willing to pay for OLD titles they know they can find cheaper in a bargain bin.
But still, if you think the $5 difference wouldn't matter you should realize that when DLC or Arcade titles drop from 800 MS points to 400 MS points the sales skyrocket.
Yes, Glitch is a real CLASSIC !
Damn..when I first saw that story in my RSS feed, I hoped it was MGS 2 Substance. Which will probably never be BC, same with Path of Neo..ugh.
I would so sign up for Chaos Theory if I still had my 360.
I'm bummed.
Most people consider $5 in the "impulse buy" range...really, what is $5 nowadays? A gallon of gas? Movie/ Game rental? Combo meal if you're aiming low enough? 5 Double Cheeseburgers (with no tax)!!
At $5 people can buy an Arcade title and be disappointed, and not sweat it. $10, most people don't buy as quickly, and can think of better things purchased it it's not up to par. $15 for something with a lot of downsides means much lower sales. What are the downsides? HD space (if you haven't upgraded, or god-forbid have the Arcade 360/ Core with no HD at all), DRM issues (though partially resolved might not be as big a factor), and of course it's an "intellectual" property, and as mentioned above, Retail version with case/ book/ etc can be found for cheaper and doesn't have HD/ DRM issues...when you are done with it your only options are to hold on to it (sucking up HD space) or delete it. No resale/ trade-in option whatsoever. $15 price point is "fanboys only" IMO...and most of them prob have the retail disc! Add achvs and it's a whole new ballgame!
cool! might actually get metal arms anyone know if its a good emulation? real shame they don't still continue with the BC updates wonder if MICROSOFT well release any XBOX games that aren't on the BC list
FYI: Both "SC:CT" and "Metal Arms - Glitch in the Machine" supports PAL-60.
Since the descriptions of the games at Marketplace does not say if it supports PAL-60 or not, I recommend checking this source if you consider buying a game from there.
Come on!
Where's Stubbs the Zombie?!
yeah both games are great. I enjoyed Chaose Theory co-op MP a lot. Glitch was pretty cool too! When will a burnout classic game come? Thats one game i'm ready to buy.
