Wired has made a post that rounds up some of the GTA Numbers following Take 2’s $500 Million dollar announcement earlier today. A lot of you have asked for some GTA LIVE numbers, so let’s take a look a what we have so far:

Thats some pretty impresive information! I figured it had a record amount of users on live, because on my FL alone I had around 35 friends playing GTA 4. That was about twice as many friends playing GTA when it launced, compared to Halo 3 when it lanched. Thanks for the info major

Thanks for the info major. I am up set at GTA now as it’s done something to my save file that won’t let me continue with the story so I might have to start again. If I do it will be later in the month or early June when I have finished college for the summer.
I was thinking of getting a copy of my bothers save file but I am worried about Microsoft thinking I am trying to get easy gamer score and getting reset to 0.

Surely between halo3, Cod4 and gears + sundry there's been over 1m online at one time. Or do you mean mp gaming?

As is that just means one million people were connected to the xbox live service simultaneously is what that means

this is the first game im trying not to get achievements in, i want high replayability but wow thats alot of numbers. wheres some FREE DLC for the fan gta support?
while GTA is still the subject it was rumored that GTA4 took up about %99 of the free-space on a dvd, meaning we almost didnt have the full gta experience ... how is xbox going to remain the superior console if they dont have disks that can hold that much data? surly DLC isn't going to save us... or is it?
Got 100%. Pigeons and stunt ramps take forever, everything else is pretty easy.
