Good show, I'm dieing to hear some Spring update news! Hopefully this week we get some news.

is there a 5x5 at the end again?  Please stop.  I didn't like it when GS Blog did it either.  It makes me feel like the people who spend Sunday afternoon refreshing the MN blog page are getting rewarded for being totally lame.

Has anyone redeemed the game code yet? I put it in on xbox.com and it seemed to go through like I got it but then I didn't know how to redeem it and now it comes up as invalid both at xbox.com and on the xbox. Now just realized the note that says only codes for subscription and microsoft points can be redeemed online. So now I'm wondering did I miss it because someone got to it first or did I just flush my best chance of getting it for myself?

Alright well here it goes,

I am writing this to you, as I sit here looking at my now 5th Xbox 360 console. Three red rings flash on its front. (The console is out of warranty, according to Xbox.com, it was a used console I bought from a local retailer because my other 360 started displaying "unplayable disc" for every game) Is the red rings a familiar site? Not for me. This is my first, all of my other 4 360's had drive failures or loose parts error code (all of which I was charged the $100 for a repair) So far, I've payed for over 3 years of Xbox Live Gold Service... (which hasnt been the kindest to its users.) I've payed over $400+ (dont  forget shipping) on costly repairs due to the supposed 32% failure rate of this system. Not to mention all the games/accessories that I have bought. So lets say I've spent in the $1200-1400 range on my xbox..Now the decision comes if I should fix one of the two broken 360's I have at my feet..I am very tempted to just go over to a PS3,I love 360 and XBL, perhaps thats why I have paid so much and done so without complaint, but seriously, how much longer do I have to bleed money just to play on my 360/live? I dont know if its worth it anymore..This last 360 lasted just over a month. I guess I am just really turned off as of late, Xbox live service has been intermittent over the past few months with the release of major games, as well as such a high console failure rate, I wish there was somthing someone could do...I just need some opinions..

An I would have to agree with 'PWKWSFI'... the 5x5 is hard to get unless you refresh like mad, and even harder when your in Australia and the show is posted at all hours of the night (local time)... Perhaps a reward for good email/comments/suggestions submitted to yourself would be a nice idea like GSB have chosen to do?

Good show this week as always Major and I love how we can listen to the show from the blog.

The part with Trixie was kinda strange. Speaking of Trixie and GamerChix, my fiance is real into games, and that is probally the reason I meet her on Xbox Live, but she just recently joined the GamerChix and she is excited about the members.

So congrats Major on a great show and to the GamerChix for 5,500 members.

Just can´t wait to start listening, but the kids need some attention as well so major has to wait a couple more hours. Thank you and e for the awesome job. Keep up the good work!

I listened to the Wits & Wagers game, and about why it wasn't released to certain countries. Could you please clarify the localisation issue for Australia, as this game was given classfication by the OFLC. and the language in the game doesn't need to be localised as we speak english as well as you, granted America spells words like colour and neighbour wrong but we wont go there. So you could you please tell us what is going on Thanks
