Elements of Destruction and Sea Life Safari (800 points each) will land on on Xbox LIVE Arcade this Wednesday.
Elements of Destruction and Sea Life Safari... both seem pretty original, though I at least know elements came out on Nintendo DS, too.
Nice theme here, violently destroying with nature, or observing it in peace, to create something beautiful with it.
Will have to give both a fair try, though I figure Elements would be the one I'd get into, if either.
Sealife looks like a waste of money.Elements on the other hand i look forward to trying the demo. But 800 points seems to a regular thing now gone are the days of 400 points :-(
The forces of Nature game sounds kind of cool.
There's something wrong with xbox.com's picture viewer though, the pictures are too far to the right and down (so I only see the top left of the picture in the lower right of the gray box).
the games on xbla of late have been pretty poor, when are we going to something decent? Goldeneye PLEASE!
elements of distruction is going to be sick
when i first read it i thought it was one game
first
Elements looks fun, I remember seeing screens of it awhile back.
And what's with ocean games this week? the Wii got some sea fishing title too.
BS, where the hell is Vigilante 8 Arcade!?!? JUNE RELEASE!!!!!
I find it ironic that after Microsoft announces its XBLA delisting policy, out come a whole bunch of games that are guaranteed to be delisted. Major, whatever happened to the goal of releasing quality games? Six months from now, you'll be removing more games every week than you'll be adding!
Any updates on the DRM tool? I know June isn't over yet, but any updates of it's availability other that "June"?
More Shovelware. I'll download the demos and not buy them. Contributing to the less than 6% bought it statstic.
I m saving my points for the Capcom games. Not spending it on much else.
Wheres Peggle and Feeding frenzy 2??? We were told feeding frenzy 2 would be out by now. Im not buying nothing until these games are released
This looks like one of those cases where one thing looks awesome and the other looks pretty bad, when it actually turns out to be just the opposite! EoD looks cool and all, but for some reason I think it will be pretty shallow and would get boring pretty fast. Where SLS looks completely lame, yet deep down (I hate to say it) I suspect it might actually be pretty fun! Wish it was 400 pts tho.. :) I'll prolly still get it
Elements of Destruction looks really interesting, I will most likely buy it first.
Vigilante 8 arcade PLZ srsly...
Well I'm turning off auto download on my 360 now.
Mikewarrior - More crap?
I swear, Microsoft doesn't know quality... To think I was once an Xbox fan.
Those days are long gone.
So much for the whole commitment to quality thing!
Major, can you contact some of the people at Ubisoft in charge of the Endwar beta and ask why quite a few of us still haven't received our beta codes? Thanks!
LOL I wish you people would stop complaining about delisting....
You take one "bad" thinking about the Xbox 360 & its service and won't let up. What about all the good things that XBL offer? If you're so dissatisfied with the service why are most of you that is complaining week after week gold members? It amazes me that still after a month-a month and a half this is still happening.
@tabicat
Have you looked at the Metacritic scores for the recent XBLA titles? Of the seven the most recent titles (except for Frogger 2, which doesn't have a score yet), three are well over the required score of 65, two are borderline, and only one is significantly under the 65 line.
Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 - 66
Aces of the Galaxy - 78
Roogoo - 81
Buku Sudoku - 62
Warlords - 51
Penny Arcade Adventures Epsiode One: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness - 77
If you look at the scores for some games released before the announcement, you'll see many are significantly lower.
Here are some of the older XBLA games I notice on the sidebar of Metacritic's website:
Bliss Island - 43
Brain Challenge - 54
Ikaruga - 88 (Yes, I see that this score is higher than the most recent games.)
Mr. Driller Online - 45
Rocketmen: Axis of Evil - 57
Rocky and Bullwinkle - 37
TiQal - 58
Triggerheart Exelica - 63
Wits & Wagers - 64
