Wow, Halo 3 took the lead again!  Those top three games are probably going to keep trading places for the rest of the year (but they might let Gears of War 2 join them).

I don't think GTA IV will trade places...unlike Halo 3 and CoD4, (and Gears of War and Halo 2 before them), GTA IV is primarily a single-player game.  It's initial spot on top was because of its MASSIVE sales, and its hype, causing tons of people to play that over H3 or CoD4.  However, once the story mode is done, there isn't much left for most people, sending them back to CoD4,H3, or other multiplayer games.

I seriously doubt GTA IV will ever return to #1.  However, you are right in that H3 and CoD4 will continue to swap places, until GoW2 knocks them both down.

Some said this day would never come, what are they to say now? Bwahahaha! COD fanboys must be feeling really horrible now that their golden cow has fallen off it's pedestal. But seriously, fanboy bashing aside, these 2 awesome games may very well be trading places over the next few weeks (until GOW comes out).
