Later today we'll start posting Inside Xbox videos from the Maddenpalooza event here at the Rose Bowl. You can also check in on Spike TV which will start broadcasting LIVE (in HD) at 9p ET. Geoff and company are set up right on the field and will be doing live breaks through out the Spike showing of the classic football movie Rudy. Hopefully you will be joining us, either in person or virtually.

No, American football sucks, and so does Madden. I am watching Michael Phelps make history. He is a true American.
With all the hype, the game better be pretty flawless as far as bugs and glitches go. NCAA Football '09's many issues were bad enough to make me more than a little worried about Madden '09.
After 20 years, I guess the Madden series does deserve a big party at the Rose Bowl, but it also deserves to be developed properly and with care. Here's hoping.

When games like Rugby, Cricket, etc. come out, you don't see us Americans flooding the interwebz saying "ZOMG THAT SPORT SUCKS, AND EVERYBODY THAT LIKES IT IS STUPID." We certaintly may (I do) think that, but we don't feel the need to be huge jerks about it and post it all over the place. If you don't like American football, good for you... nobody really cares. Save your time and go do something productive. It's a cultural difference, just like many other things. It's probably never going to change, so just shut your mouths and get over it

To all dums@ss retards that don't know. Football is called football because you RUN with the ball. When the game was invented they didn't pass the ball. The foward pass came along later and in real football you don't get a ladies bloody period card for hiting someone like you do in futbol.
I was there this evening... pretty sad turn out. Best part was the Slurpee tent with all those extremely hot chicks in tight half shirts and hotpants. No scratch that, the best part was walking into the VIP section getting free booze! Thanks EA! I reckon some promoter is now being handed a box full of unused Maddenpalooza tickets and a pink slip.
It's far from flawless from looking at what most people are saying about it. I'll be giving it a gamefly rental but I'm guessing it will not be getting kept. The NFL needs to stop screwing gamers over and bring back some much needed competition into the football game market. It's not just football either as baseball has been atrocious as well but that is a seperate issues. Hmm, I wonder why your preorders are down this year EA.
