The Alpha came out in May, but the team just shipped the beta version with some new features for your game making fun.
If you’re looking for something to do this weekend (if you’re not coming to PAX) why not kick out a game? Note: You’ll need Silverlight which you may already have from watching the Olympics last week.
I'll try :)
Very good news for designers who don't want to learn too much coding.
hmmm might give that a go
I am going to try my hand at this asap!
Hmm... Nice web-only app. I've fiddled with it for about 5 minutes after logging in. I'll need to research and study it to see if you can import your own art (jpg, swf, png, gif, obj or dxf). I doubt it, but hey maybe, just maybe? It allows for import, now WHERE are the image files?
I'll most likely stick with flash for making my game. First will just be a simple puzzle of a sort moving pieces around.
Popfly is neat for all the wanna-be game creators and the whiners or bad games being made.
Also check www.garagegames.com, www.fpscreator.com (Halo, Doom, Prey, etc) and www.xna.com (programming a must) for more control.
Ahhh... Woe... Eeee.. Shhh... T
Well done guys, that stuff Feels like the future.
It didn't take too long to grasp the basics and I really like the Mashup page.
Brings new meaning to Object Orientated.
I look forward to playing on it this weekend.
Yes you can import images and audio. You have to go to the "Games Tab" which is a little confusing because it should say "Game Icon" but its only beta right?
