If you live in the US, you know that the day after Thanksgiving is (for better or worse) called Black Friday. Along with many of your favorite stores, the Xbox LIVE Marketplace is also having a Black Friday sales event…and we’re actually stretching it through the weekend. Starting this Friday Gold Members located in the US can save on select Marketplace Offers. Here is the complete list of items, including the discount and savings in MS Points:
The sale starts Friday morning and will run through Sunday evening. These special prices will be available for Xbox LIVE Gold Members in the US only. If you click the links above, you’ll see the current prices. The new prices will be updated on Friday morning when the sale kicks in. Here is the official Xbox.com page.
Edit: Fixed a few links
son of a ***...i just bought Tee it up last night and it was pants
oh,nevermind its US only
Major,i think when the US gets stuff just for them, free or not,i think we,the rest of the world should get alternatives.
i know that most of the time it isnt Microsofts fault, more the companies and copywrite or them being assholes etc...but do,all the other countries get something special when they have a holiday that isnt celebrated in another country?...no
as for here in the UK,i know that we pay more for xbox live and games, and i am guessing it is the same for the rest of europe, perhaps Australia as well(sorry i have no idea about canada or japan)
microsoft need to spread the love..we are all your customers
US Only.... WHY :(
You lucky Americans.
Think of us poor British folk whilst you're downloading discounted goodness.
There seems no reason to not offer this in other regions. I'd pick up Rez for 500 points.
US only again. Thanks Microsoft. For nothing.
Way to hack off the rest of the world :(
I gave the feedback about having this available for other regions, but due to a lot of issues it was not possible. :(
Sweet.
Eh, most of those games suck, and I already got Rez... Too bad...
I normally don't post about such things, but *SIGH* rest of the world gets shafted again, it's really getting old now.
Black Friday is a SALE after Thanksgiving. US only celebrates Turkey Day.
So will Canada be seeing similar Boxing Day sales?
You know ... since we pay more for points, subscriptions, et cetera.
Man this blog has gotten ugly!!!!
@metallicorphan : You go on a rant about "[you], the rest of the world" not getting a discount, when your gamertag says you're part of the US? Something's amiss here...
We have also some holidays in germany. For example the 3rd of October. What do you offer us on this date????
Play together worldwide? But pay more if you are not from america?
Yay! Another kick in the nuts for everyone except the US. Cheers MS!
Too bad it isn't in europe, cause I would have bought four of the games with these prices. Anyway, happy holidays for the rest of you!
Gold members only ? : (
hahaha, ridiculous.
MS knows how to win the european market *thumbup*
I would have bought REZ at 500, seems like MS doesn't want my money, lol
Wow. That's just amazing.
So... which day in the year does the rest of the world get special deals the US doesn't?
Poor Europe ... here's a biscuit to make it all better ...

What are those issues? The Greedyness of MS?
While I agree with some of the "outside US" statements, I do have to say that this system is developed by a U.S. company so it is understandable for Microsoft to run special deals for their home region.
But lets be serious, all media should be universal anyways.
screw region locks.
U.S only.. Come on Microsoft there are other regions.
