how about you tell the big dogs to fix xbox live.. party chat is broken, invites are not working half the time, etc...im sure I could go on.

He says he at least reads all of them, which is more than enough IMO.  If I had thousands of emails a day i would skip on the "Ok thanks for the idea" emails too.

I enjoy Stepto's comments and insights, but I find it pretty sophomoric when you ask for the things people have tried to get away with and we get a bunch of bleeping. Either don't bleep it or don't do it, it's far more annoying than funny.

Major, Im asking you to please give some kind of response to this.

And before people start giving advice I've tried it all to fix it and I am not the only one who has the issue, I've seen hundreds of people with this issue.

Why does the guide freeze and lockup every time I open it? I have FiOS so it surely isn't my  connection either. Are you guys working on it? Do you know the cause? Are you working on it. Any sort of answers would be much appreciated. I never had these issues prior to the NXE.

Custom Casket: I know you don't want any of us to say anything, but this happens to a lot of people. :)

I believe the Guide (and rest of the dashboard) likes to freeze due to NXE always pulling data off Xbox servers and sometimes it might time out or get held back which results in a freeze.

Twilight Now:

Understandable but it is unacceptable. This is something I would expect from the Playstation Network since there are no subscriber fees. This is a paid service, sure there are silver members but Microsoft has millions of paid users. They should have this under wraps. Maybe it isn't a lag in pulling data, could be something else. Hopefully Major Nelson has some sort of answer for me. Thanks for your constructive input as well :)

Thanks a bunch, I really didn't expect a show since it's Easter.

I always like the shows where Stepto is on.  About two weeks ago Stepto helped me out after I posted a rant on my twitter feed.  I thought it was cool to get some feedback and in theory the problem was getting worked out.

THE AFTER SHOW SOUND IS MESSED UP!!!!!! E is coming out of my left ear and when major speaks I hear him in the right....and I hear major go uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that sucks........... BTW major and E why not express Stepto's stuff with a quirky video like the days of arcade... Kids at my high school are always saying file a complaint on my gamertag I want to change it & later same kid said I found this website that gives you free points its great

Custom Casket: well, you see with NXE it constantly pulls data to display custom backgrounds for games you're looking at on the dashboard, box art, gamer pictures, etc. etc.

NXE is all about that kind of thing and having millions of people using the dash at once could cause hiccups like that.

Twilight Now: They should have the server and bandwidth end support for that then if they put it out there. I don't pay $50 a month for something that locks up in the middle of a game ;)

I wanna know why the Guide and the NXE locks up and freezes so much too
