It is almost as if MS are trying to alienate as many non-US members as possible. The only way to get the message through is to cancel your subscription and tell them your reason why, since you have to phone some Indian to do so. Sooner or later they will listen.

Shame, i understand due to policies / rating boards etc some releases are not available in certain regions.  Though when the 3 titles were announced on this site, i thought Arkanoid - Great! (i had lots of fun with this as a kid) and was looking forward to the XBLA version.  That was the title i was initially going to buy though now its not available in Aus.

Not completely disappointed though, i'll have to head off and have a look at the other two!

Hopefully Arkanoid eventually becomes available in Au.

@cheekyleath, The moderators on the XBOX FORUM always state that there isn't a XBOX SUPPORT CENTRE in India, but we know now the truth, check out the Seattle times, they was a article in there about 2 years ago, which states that not only is there a call centre there, but that they were trained the speak like they were from seattle!

Remakes of classic games should never cost more than 400 points. *00 points for this is a ripoff.

I think MS are actually trying to stop the recession by tying to start hyper inflation. 100% rise in price over 1 year in classic games

Yeah this should have been a 400 point game, its just Arkanoid with sharper graphics.

I had so much fun with this game. I cant wait to try this version. 800 pts for a straight port is to much but for HD remakes it's ok to me. Hope its as good as I remember.

I just play the ROM on my DS & PSP... I have no reason to pay $10-$12 for this. Arkanoid was about the gameplay, not the visuals.

800pts is fair until you realise that this only comes with 50% of the levels with the rest to follow as DLC.

My guess = for 400 pts.

Nice, so now MS are hiding the 1200 point games by cutting half of the game out, releasing it for 800 points, then later on selling you the other half.

I think I'll just stop buying XBLA games all together, shame, but he prices are outrageous.

Whats this madness? Im in the UK and when i click to Buy Arkanoid Live it says "Cant retrive info from Xbox Live" whats that about......... yet i can dl the trail.

yep - confirmed.  the 800pts gets you the first two episodes.

there are four episodes on the main menu.

the achvs only relate to eps 1 and 2.

this is a 1200pt game disguised.

and that fact is mostly hidden in the demo.

M$ are scum.

I like this game and all, but I'm not happy with only getting two episodes when you buy it and more later. And I am also guessing that that DLC is already in the game judging by the size of the trial.

Was looking forward to this but won't be picking this up after finding out only half of the game is included.  Pretty shady MS.

Wow talk about going behind our backs jeez have to pay for the other half of the game........ this has put me off buying this title. I sense that space invaders is hiding something because i remember hearing it comes with the retro game as well
