    What a crappy interview for Portal 2. You didn’t address the lack of Steam and the lack of the free PC copy of the game that the 360 version is not getting. At this point, why should ANYONE get the 360 version of the game when the get more features with the PC and PS3 versions???

      I have a PS3 and a 360 and I got it on 360 mainly because of live. PSN has been down since Portal 2 launch so I guess I made a pretty good choice.

    No mention of why the 360 version of MK didn’t have an exclusive character or why Portal 2 doesn’t have Steamworks. What a joke. Microsoft lost BIG TIME when it comes to these 2 games. I for one refuse to buy an inferior version. Same thing with LA Noire, Sony gets exclusive content.

        Those are TIMED exclusives.
        Sony gets REAL exclusives that 360 owners will NEVER get like in Arkham Asylum.

          The xbox consoles have always been about timed exclusives.
          Have you seen the dev diary for the fable 3 pc version? It makes the xbox version look like a beta!

          thats why the psn has been down for 5 days and still going to be down for a while because of hackers yeah Microsoft wins get out of here fanboy dont think ur smart when ur not mortal kombat and portal came out and you cant play online haha if your smart do you know the reason portal is giving ps3 members the option for stream and the pc copy is because they said they will never release a game on ps3 and they release it on ps3 for money so take ur garbage console out here

            im not a fanboy he was putting down Microsoft while his system cant play onlone due to hackers i like Microsoft and Nintendo i used to have a ps3 and it was a horrible system so i cant stick up for a garbage console

    According to your show, “9 of 10″ people have been asking about the idea of boxes, crates, logic, longetivity and so on.. :) For the future, don’t ask people to write questions, when you haven’t ask (answered), what they want to know.

    Anyway, great show and I understand, why there wasn’t steamwork mentioned.. It`s bout microsoft, isn’t it ? I don’t see any problem to ported the steam to xbox (better portability then to ps3). For the MK.. well, there was an interview, that they really want to do special character, but someone has stopped it.. who is responsible for that ?

    LOL’ed at the argument about Tolkien’s pronounciation. It is interesting, because his surname is thought to be from German origin, and hence be pronounced Tolkuhn, BUT because he was born and lived in South Africa, I, as a ex-pat can understand why it turns out to be the “keen” sound, as that is a very prominent sound in the Afrikaans language, which is a South African language, and had strong influence even on the English spoken in the country. So, I am with Stepto… TolKEEN!!! :)

    I really appreciated the Portal 2 interview. Chet and Erik’s advice, however generic it was, helped me get unstuck from a puzzle in Chapter 7! I’m going to look for less-twitchy solutions.

    I can’t remember who talked bad about fantasynovels. I have to say that you have to reed “The Dragon Reborn” by Robert Jordan and to be finished by Brandon Sanderson. Sure I like The Lord of the Rings but this series is amazing. It’s the best fantasybook ever by far.

    Hey Major, this is a bit off topic but I’m hoping I can get an answer from you or someone else on the podcast.

    I’m a bit of a cheevo maniac and its really annoying when I run into achievements that are impossible to get ( Need for Speed race days come to mind ). Are there any plans to alleviate this and bring some peace to us gamers with incomplete games on their list? Would it be possible for Microsoft to unlock achievements that are no longer obtainable, or simply remove them?

    If not, is Microsoft governing future achievements to prevent this sort of thing in the future?

    Hey Maj, any posibility of throwing an html 5 audio player up for future podcasts? I’m aware not everyone could use it, and I’m not saying to replace the player you use now, but rather in addition to the player you use now.
