     The few people I know who have LA Noire seem to not be playing it. Almost as if it is a Rockstar game… loved by critics and consumers for no apparent reason but not played too much.

    Not sure what to say about the Gears multiplayer demo ending… when is the demo going on Marketplace?

       Been playing LA Noire a lot myself in the last few days. Total of just over 15 hours! It is brilliant – the acting is incredible and they’ve certainly captured realism in terms of character facial expressions and body language unlike any other game

        I agree the mechanic could have been explained better, it is better explained in the manual. Only choose lying if your clues/evidence back it up. If you have no proof and still suspect choose doubt.

          Sometimes I feel like I do have evidence but it turns out it’s not enough. Other times I feel like I have no evidence at all when in fact I do :( I think intuition points should have just given you the correct answer right away instead of removing one wrong answer or asking the community – I feel like I’m playing Who Wants To Be A Millionaire xD

        It’s supposed to be difficult to tell, and it’s supposed to be permanent when you fail. They deliberately avoided just giving you a game over screen and letting you try again until you get it right.

        Sometimes a suspect is a very good liar, and it can be difficult to read him. If you get it wrong, you get it wrong, and you have to live with the consequences.

        I wouldn’t have it any other way, really.

          Doesn’t really matter though since you can just quit and reload your game the moment you know you got a question wrong.

           Actually it was a beta. You see, when a multiplayer ‘demo’ is released the game is already finished. They’re just giving you a small taste of what’s already in the finished product. With the Gears ‘beta’, it was released with the intention of mass play testing so they can figure out what works and what doesn’t. So in the end we’ll get a much better product when the game is finished.

     I don’t understand how anyone can’t get overclocker I got it the first time I tried in 70 seconds but Smash Tv is hard and is the only single player game achievement I have left.

    I love LA Noir, it’s like a realistic version of Phoenix Wright. I actually have to fight the urge to shout ‘OBJECTION!’ when a suspect sais something that contradicts something in my evidence list :)

    Stepto, did you see the Intuit GoPayment app for Windows Phone? Does the same thing as Square but no hardware needed.
