What exactly did MS bring to PAX? I haven’t heard anything from them all week, I don’t know if these recycled franchise games from sub-developers like Halo 4 and Gears Judgement are boring the gaming media as much as many 360 owners or what.

Oh well, ten days to Borderlands 2.

    • Lee Rayson

go check all the new arcade games coming an F2P games too,

even if MS did have a new exclusive games coming they wouldnt announce it at PAX they wait till E3

      • Russell Gorall

The Avatar Motocross and Happy Wars should be cool, though why I am not hearing about them from Microsoft through promotion? I had to do a google search for each game to find out what they were.

I don’t really care about 360 Arcade games anymore, until they are deeply cut in price with sales. Lococycle doesn’t really get me amped up as a gamer.

PAX Prime is a little bit late in the year to make announcements. Microsoft didn’t make any major announcements. Neither did anyone else. PR isn’t what PAX is about.
And Halo and Gears games are best-sellers that stay in the Top 10 most played games long after they come out. Hardly what I’d call “recycled franchise games from sub-developers”.

      • Russell Gorall

Thanks, I had no idea what PAX was about. I thought maybe it was an airport in Philadelphia.

The next Gears and Halo titles are being developed by other people, not the original developer. That is exactly what I would call “recycled franchise games from sub-developers”. Cheers and happy gaming.

They had Gears (which had a shockingly short line… So did AC3), Halo, Forza, Fable: The Journey, a bunch of XBLA games, and a few third party games (I remember seeing RE6, FIFA, and Tomb Raider… Can’t remember if there were any others.

Honestly, none of the console makers had overly exciting booths this year. Only really exciting thing from any of the three companies was Sony with Last of Us, and I don’t know if it was playable, or if it was just a guided demo.

When you show stuff at E3 that are promising new IP’s, or hardware, you don’t have people wondering if there is going to be some reveal at a weird time. Which is what a lot of consumers and media are wondering, just not what are often Microsoft employees on this blog. I would like to see something new and big from MS, it has been a few years. Cheers, if you have something to say about a retail first party game, please reply. I have heard about all the rest, from the Internet.

    Has anyone seen my keys?

Too bad you didn’t have something for XBOX 101. You missed an opportunity to re-run the old “XBOX 101, with Major Nelson” jingle.

  • Major Nelson

I had one last year….not a bad car. I’ll see if I can get this years model though

  • Tobin Otto Vollmar

Hey Major, hope you can make it back to Minneapolis sometime you’re not on a layover. Definitely think we need to get some gaming conventions started here with our centrality to the U.S. & Canada…just saying :)
