      Nibs are the best!

That NATGEO app is just a selling vids app, and a pretty piss poor one at that.

Ya that NatGeo one seemed pretty poor to me.

However the Sesame Street TV one is incredibly amazing. The Kinect Sesame street game from last winter should have been this game all along. My 3 kids love it. It’s Sesame Street but completly interactive.

Thanks for the tip-off to the Wall Street Journal review of Borderlands 2. It’s so bad, it’s funny. I’m waiting for it to become some sort of internet meme. Even more enjoyable? The comments below the story. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it’s evident that this writer has a pedestrian understanding of video games at best. I think if you’re going to be a reviewer for a prestigious institution of journalism like TWSJ, you probably should know your stuff enough to not compare Call of Duty and Medal of Honor games to Borderlands 2. Just hoping the guys at Gearbox were able to laugh it off – all the way to the bank. It’s a wonderful game. Looking forward to following Team Disfunction’s exploits!

Most likely not. No one does many updates to games that old. First, would Rare really see new sales (and at what price, the Viva Piñata games are heavily discounted)? If there’s no money in it, then why distract the team from developing new games that keep the business going?

Beyond that, it is very hard to keep software development environments going for that long. The tools move on, the code may not compile with the newest SDK, and the people who developed it have either moved on or have forgotten the details of the game. There would certainly be a big risk of breaking the game’s functionality if one tries to add a whole new sub-system that wasn’t even conceived when the game was initially written.
