    Really? Since the last update, my dash has got significantly faster. Apps open much quicker – the Xbox Music and Video apps are down to around 2-4 seconds now (Netflix and BBC iPlayer take 5-7 seconds). And I’ve never seen any lag on typing in-game (messages, achievement statuses, etc…) – wondering if you’ve got a hardware issue with your Xbox? Might be worth checking out.

      Same here. My dashboard has improved significantly with the last update (and I’ve never had issues sending text messages). There are still some spots that I would like to see it faster, but the current iteration is much better than it was previously.

      Definitely sounds like that guy has a potential hardware issue.

    Got to go with the the other guys, the current has is overal improved compared to past dashboards as for the “changing brands” ims ure the usa oinly bs happens on PS aswell

    Thank you Xbox for not caring a single bit about your users outside the US. You give free Xbox’s to AMERICANS who have subscribed for 10 years. That’s great, what are you doing for the rest of us? In case you hadn’t noticed we do actually exist. Please tell me why we get nothing all the time.

    Yeah, I’m pretty sure I’m going to avoid MS hardware all together after this experience I’ve had in the last 5 years or so.

    Ive been an 8 year subscriber with current tag I had a different one for the first two years , also I have probably sent a record number of broken xbox 360′s back to microsoft for repair I think I deserve a special edition console !

    You need to release a LARGER hard drive ASAP. 320GB is not nearly big enough. Just ran out of space on mine with almost no games installed. Need a 1TB hard drive! I have one on my PS3 and its half full already. Do you want me to buy more content, or not??

      So hook up an external drive. Why is this Microsoft’s fault?

        Uhh, external drives only allow 32GB to be used by the 360. Why is it their fault? Because they fail to provide a large enough drive, and fail to allow you to use your own. Oh well, ignorance is bliss I suppose.

    Maybe you don’t know, but outside US and UK your Xbox Live is .. worthless. NO Xbox MUSIC! NO Xbox VIDEO content.. thanks for nothing.

      Include Canada on that list also. We get Xbox Music, Xbox Video, Netflix, IE… and about 99% of what the US subscribers get….

      Go Canada!

      You should be complaining to your local companies about being to restrictive with their regional licensing then. Xbox can’t be faulted if your country blocks new movies etc because of trade agreements.
      Get your local distributors to get their butts into gear and license things quicker.

    Worst secret keepers ever, you guys! So many hints dropped that we can expect a new Xbox in the coming year – just listen closely. I’m excited. And for the record, the new Xbox 360 slim solved the RROD problem, runs fast, and the dashboard is an elite experience. Reminds me of that Louis CK bit about how unhappy so many people are with technology no matter what the experience is. The Xbox is a miracle machine. Who knew when it launched 10 years ago that we’d be where we are now? I mean, Facebook didn’t even exist when the 360 popped. Android? iPhone? Nothing. And this machine and service has managed to stay relevant the entire time. Stop and think a minute, folks. It’s amazing what $199 can buy you right now. And if it’s such a miserable experience for you, then leave. You have a choice. But Microsoft doesn’t owe you a thing. We’re spoiled.

    I have a gamerscore of 20,500 also I’ve been a gold member for over ten years nonstop. I also did tons of beta testing to help Xbox & xbl. I also dealt with RROD many times. I beleive I’ve been more than loyal and deserve the 10 year custom XBOX. I’ve stayed with XB through thick and thin. I hope Xbox does me right by sending me a new console. and to all people who have done the same. nametag# jjtarantino it customersllike me who keep xb/xbl going.

    Great show. I got my xbox 360 late – only on my 5th year. Before that I was a member of the Sony dark side, Ps2.

    I have been on Live since day1 and apparently did not win a special edition console…real bummer considering i’m on my 3rd xbox due to 2 defective xboxes that I bought. I remember when live came out, I took a couple of days off of work to play. My gamertag is SephrouS if you guys decide you still want to send me one!

    Hey e, Comixology app IS out for Windows 8/Windows RT. Unfortunately, they published it before it was ready. It’s very incomplete.
