Nemesis, the fourth and final DLC Pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts arrives first on Xbox Live next week. Take a look:
Here’s more info on Nemesis, courtesy of Activision:
Get the first look at Nemesis, the fourth and final DLC Pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts. Nemesis includes four Multiplayer maps: Goldrush, Subzero, Dynasty, and Showtime, a reimagined version of the fan-favorite Shipment from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
The four-part Extinction saga concludes with Episode 4: Exodus. Explore the biggest Extinction level yet and take on nearly every Cryptid species from previous episodes. You will also contend with the Ancestors – a powerful new enemy with mind control and psionic attacks.
Today, Activision and Infinity Ward are offering the first look at Invasion, the third DLC Pack available for Call of Duty: Ghosts. Invasion features four Multiplayer maps and the next installment in Extinction’s four-part episodic narrative, Awakening. Have a look at the trailer:
Here’s more on those new Multiplayer maps:
DEPARTED – Set in a rural Mexican town amidst the Dia de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) celebration, this medium-sized map features a classic three-lane design. The decorative streets, back alleys, and festive cemetery have plenty of cover for run-and-gunners, but still features some long-range engagements.
If you complete the map’s unique Field Order, you will unlock the Death Mariachi killstreak. Armed with dual wielding pistols, the Death Mariachi rampages through the map, turning your kills into your own squad mates. Celebrate the dead, just try not to become one of them!
PHARAOH – In an abandoned archeological site of an ancient Egyptian palace, where the pyramids create a formidable backdrop, this medium sized, complex multi-level map includes a collapsing monument, urns full of flesh-eating scarabs, and other surprises.
Within the Egyptian palace, you will battle through different chambers, a throne room, and temples ideal for close-quarters combat and short-range weapons, all under the watchful eye of Anubis, the half-jackal/half-human, protector of the dead. The more adventurous of you will be handsomely rewarded by exploring the deepest secrets of the site.
MUTINY – In a secretive cove on a remote Caribbean island, this mysterious inlet is not your ideal holiday destination. Harboring an eerie pirate hideout – complete with abandoned trading posts and prison cells – you’ll need to focus on speed and stealth as you find your way through the narrow and intertwining pathways.
Mutiny comes packed with many “treasures” for you to discover, such as the map’s unique killstreak – an escort of ghostly pirates who will happily send your foes down to Davy Jones’ Locker.
FAVELA – Favela is a refreshed version of the fan-favorite Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map of the same name. Years later, the favela has seen substantial cosmetic changes – buildings once under-construction are now complete, while others have not aged as gracefully as others with the passage of time, and are now in a state of disrepair.
With narrow passageways, multiple housing complexes, and abandoned storefronts, there is also plenty of opportunity for shorter range weapons as you navigate this Brazilian shantytown.
Extinction continues its storyline with Episode 3: Awakening. Descend into an alien underworld and strike at the mysterious puppet-masters behind the Cryptid invasion. Three new Cryptid species await players, along with some familiar enemies and allies.
Call of Duty: Ghosts Invasion arrives first on Xbox – next Tuesday, June 3rd.
The 2014 Call of Duty Championships, presented by Xbox, are on NOW. With teams from around the world battling it out for their share of $1 million in prize money, the competition is sure to be fierce. Here’s how you can follow the action live:
Devastation, the second DLC Pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts, debuts April 3, first on Xbox. This pack features four unique multiplayer maps, an all-new tactical 2-in-1 weapon, and Episode 2: Mayday – the next installment in Extinction’s four-part episodic narrative.
Here’s a bit more intel we’ve received on these maps:
RUINS: A mountaintop Mayan ruin overrun by the jungle, Ruins’ skyline is dominated by an ominous volcano on the brink of eruption. The central temple provides a key overwatch position, and adds verticality to the subterranean sections beneath the temple’s foundations. These underground sections, cliffside trails and stairwells create a myriad of pathways and flanking routes so players will never be far from the frantic action.
BEHEMOTH: Situated on a massive bucket-wheel excavator (BWE), one of the largest vehicles ever created, Behemoth is a narrow, multi-level map. Long sight lines open Behemoth up to longer-range weapons, while BWE’s core walkways offer tight interior control rooms, ideal for those who prefer close-quarters combat. The map’s multiple levels gives players flanking opportunities so there will rarely be an opportunity to focus solely on your cross-hairs.
COLLISION: Having collided with a New York bridge, the resulting wreckage of this cargo ship provides the setting for Collision. With the mangled remains of the bridge, burnt out vehicles, and shipping containers strewn across the deck, this map provides the ideal theatre for tight, close-quarters combat.
UNEARTHED: Inspired by Dome, the fan-favorite map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Unearthed drops players at the heart of an alien dig site. Unearthed lies amidst the shadows of mysterious ancient statues, and at its heart is an ancient meteorite – the focus of the excavation.
Moving on to Devastation’s new weapon, The Ripper: This unique weapon provides players with two different configurations: medium to short-range capability as a Sub Machine-Gun (SMG), and medium to long-range as an Assault Rifle (AR), giving maximum flexibility to adjust to a variety of map types and tactics.
And finally, the Extinction experience continues with Episode 2: Mayday. In the aftermath of Episode 1: Nightfall, the Quick Reaction Force team is sent in to investigate a high-tech ghost ship adrift in the South Pacific. In Episode 2: Mayday your team will need new weapons and new tactics to deal with the insidious wall-crawling “Seeder,” and the skyscraper-sized monstrosity known as the “Kraken.” To survive, players must explore the ship’s cavernous environment, scavenge supplies and construct improvised weapons and traps from blueprints found onboard.
Call of Duty: Ghosts Devastation, available April 3rd, first on Xbox.
Call of Duty: Ghosts’ first DLC, Onslaught, arrives this Tuesdayonly on Xbox LIVE. Nightfall is part of the Onslaught package, the first of four Extinction episodes. Take a look:
More on Nightfall: At a remote facility in the Alaskan wilderness, the shadowy Nightfall Program has been researching the origins of the “Alien” threat. When the scientists lose control, a small team of elite soldiers must retrieve the intel, exterminate hordes of hostile creatures, and survive a three-story tall terror unlike anything they’ve faced before.

Call of Duty: Ghosts‘ first DLC pack is on its way with Multiplayer maps and more. Onslaught features four new Multiplayer Maps, an all-new dual purpose Assault Rifle/Sniper Rifle, and the first installment in Extinction’s four-part episodic narrative. Take a look:
Here’s a bit more info we’ve received on these maps:
Fog: This small to medium-sized map drops you into a dark and eerie campsite set alongside a fog-shrouded lake. You’ll fight through twisting caves, tall grass, and seemingly abandoned structures each providing different gameplay engagements for all types of players. Inspired by classic horror films and terrifying encounters, Fog also harbors a dark secret…
BayView: Set on a coastal Californian boardwalk with seaside gift stores and an aquarium, BayView is a small, tight, fast-paced run-and-gun map. Moving through the boardwalk is a quaint trolley bus, providing cover, transport and even a handy moving platform for cleverly placed sentry guns and other Killstreaks. Although BayView has a lot of tight corners, it also features some elevated positions offering longer sightlines perfect for Marksman Rifles. Plus, players will want to be on the lookout for Field Orders that, when completed, will trigger a massive and deadly artillery strike from a Naval Destroyer anchored just offshore.
Containment: This smaller-sized map is set along a dry riverbed in a war-torn South American village. Battles will rage on both banks as well as along the riverbed itself, and at the heart of the map is a small bridge holding a hi-jacked truck containing leaking radioactive material. The bridge provides a quick route across the map but players will have to contend with the effects of the radiation. A myriad of abandoned bars, cafes, a church and pool hall provide strong close-quarters combat opportunities, while the elevated rooftop and open riverbed offer vantage points to players who prefer longer range engagements.
Ignition: Inspired by Scrapyard – the classic, fan-favorite Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map – Ignition drops players into an aging space launch facility in Florida. This map packs plenty of action both above and below ground thanks to a layout of abandoned buildings, flame trenches, and a massive transport crawler that provides elevated sightlines. With rockets crash-landing into the area of operations, players must be ready for fast run-and-gun combat, leveraging the environment’s debris fields and exposed fuselages for cover. Complicating the close-quarters combat, players can trigger two different rocket engine tests that send massive jets of fire to incinerate enemy players caught inside their blast radius.
About that new rifle: It’s called the Maverick. Players can choose to use the Maverick as either an Assault Rifle or Sniper Rifle, depending on their tactical needs.
Also part of this first content pack is Episode 1: Nightfall, a continuation of the Extinction experience. At a remote facility in the Alaskan wilderness, the shadowy Nightfall Program has been researching the origins of the “Alien” threat. When the scientists lose control, a small team of elite soldiers must retrieve the intel and exterminate hordes of savage creatures while surviving a three-story tall terror unlike anything they’ve faced before.
