This will be the first time we’ve showcased Xbox One en masse to a European audience. And it will be the first time Xbox One has shown up on a main stage since E3 in June. We all know that a lot has changed since then. So we’re looking bring the latest and greatest content, builds and stories to our friends in Europe. Xbox Media Showcase As Phil Spencer said last week, we’re hosting an small invite only media event on Tuesday, 20 August where we’ll share some news and give media a chance to experience gaming on Xbox One first hand. There is no live stream, but I’ll be posting the news here on my blog and on Twitter using #Xboxgamescom . Keep an eye on Xbox Wire as well.
Xbox Booth (Hall 6) Our gamescom booth is the largest we’ve ever had. The team has worked tirelessly to make sure every piece of available space is filled with the latest game content for you to play. And not only will there be hands-on, you will also have the chance to see how Kinect and SmartGlass really adds to the gaming on Xbox One.
Stop by our booth to check out “Forza Motorsport 5,” “Ryse: Son of Rome,” “Killer Instinct,” “Kinect Sports Rivals,” “Project Spark,” “Dead Rising 3,” to name a few, and we will also have the first-ever hands-on with “FIFA 14” on Xbox One– perfect timing as football leagues worldwide are just kicking off. And let’s not forget the Xbox 360 – we’ll also have the remake of “Fable,” “World of Tanks” and an awesome selection of partner titles – all to be revealed at the show.
At the heart of the booth is our official Xbox Stage and the schedule that is bursting at the brim. For those attending we’ll advertise our agenda at the start of each day and it will contain some solid content and tons of swag. If you need a bigger incentive to drop by, we’ll be giving away Xbox Ones during the show – every hour, on the hour – but you must be present to win.
If you are at Comic Con in San Diego this weekend, Xbox has a full schedule of activities including one of the very first opportunities to get hands on time with Xbox One games like Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza 5, Halo: Spartan Assault and more at the Xbox One Lounge.
PLUS you’ll also have an opportunity to win an Xbox One. From Friday, July 19 through Sunday, July 21st we will be giving away an Xbox One console each day to a lucky San Diego Comic-Con attendee who visits the Xbox Lounge at the Manchester Room in the Grant Hyatt Hotel. We’ve rounded up some familiar faces in the gaming industry to join me for our "Xbox @ E3" Live Coverage that will happen this week. Sign into Xbox LIVE on your console and join us Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week for a live one-hour show each day from the show floor. During each hour we’ll take a closer look at some of the announcements, interviews with developers, game play and more.
Update: Today we announced “Killer Instinct” is coming to Xbox One. We will have it to play tonight at this meet up!

If you are in the Southern California area, we’ve got a special Xbox Community meet up scheduled for Monday, June 10th at the Microsoft Store in Century City. Join me and members of the Xbox team as we show off Xbox One to the public for the first time. Plus we’ll also have hands-on time with the new Xbox One controller.

Where: The Microsoft Store, Westfield Century City in Los Angeles (Directions) When: Monday, June 10th from 7:30pm – 9:00pm Why: Come meet members of the Xbox team and see the Xbox One with your own eyes, plus take the Xbox One controller for a spin and see (and feel) for yourself the improvements we’ve made to one of the best controllers in gaming.
The event is free and open to the public but we expect a crowd, so I recommend getting there there early.
