Here’s what you need to know:
When:Tuesday, March 18th beginning at 7pm. Your session will last approximately one hour.
Note: The Loft isn’t a huge venue (we can fit approximately 50 fans in at a time), and this event is 1st come, 1st served. After one hour, we will clear the venue and allow a second group of about 50 fans in to play.
The line is already forming, the stage is nearly set, and Titanfall launches… TONIGHT.
While you’re waiting for midnight in your neck of the woods, why not join us live from SXSW in Austin? Both in-person or on Twitch, we’ll be celebrating Titanfall’s release from 11pm Eastern/8pm Pacific. Watch right… here:
Here’s what to look for tonight: developer walkthroughs of new Titanfall maps, answering fan questions, and unveiling an amazing new collaboration in the Titanfall universe. We’ll also be holding Twitter contests throughout the stream, we’ll announce how to enter during the broadcast.
Last week, we invited you to join us to celebrate the launch of Titanfall, and the response has been incredible. While more people have RSVP’d via Facebook than can even fit in the building, this will be a first come-first served event.
And here’s a way to become even… first-er:
Join us this Sunday, March 9th at 5pm for a casual meet-up at the Microsoft Store in Austin @ The Domain. The first 50 people to arrive at the store will be granted VIP access to Monday night’s launch party. Just line up in the designated area outside the store (but not before 4pm!)
We’ll also be playing games and raffling off prizes (including an Xbox One), so feel free to come on by even if you’re not looking to attend Monday’s launch party. We look forward to meeting you (and receiving your recommendations for good local BBQ).
Located at the Microsoft Studio at 323 Congress, the celebration (Facebook event page here) will kick off at 9pm, featuring exclusive opportunities to meet the developers behind Titanfall, cool giveaways, and of course, lots of Titanfall gameplay. A special performance by Childish Gambino, one of the most exciting young talents in music, mixing a unique blend of hip-hop genres, will cap the evening.
Attendance will be on a first come, first served basis – although we’re planning other ways for folks to get into the event – keep an eye on Twitter for more details on that.
If you won’t be in Austin, we don’t want you to miss the special celebration, and we’re building a special Twitch broadcast just for you. Tune in to our Twitch live stream at twitch.tv/xbox or on the Twitch Xbox app starting at 10pm Central (11pm Eastern, 8pm Pacific) on March 10 for incredible gameplay action, special appearances from Vince Zampella, Abbie Heppe, and Yusuf Mehdi, the legendary team from Rooster Teeth Productions, Xbox Live Gamerscore and achievement leader Stallion83, Xbox’s own Major Nelson, GameTrailers TV and Spike TV host Geoff Keighley, Twitch’s Jon Carnage and many, many more.

Today at the Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft showcased a first look at “Crimson Dragon,” the flight-based shooter from the creator of the critically acclaimed “Panzer Dragoon” series, and unveiled new gameplay for “Dead Rising 3,” the next blockbuster installment of Capcom’s award-winning zombie action series, coming exclusively to Xbox One on Nov. 22.

Capcom Showcases Co-op Multiplayer and Super-combo Weapons for “Dead Rising 3”
Microsoft and Capcom Vancouver enticed fans with a first look at co-op multiplayer and Super-combo weapons, a brand-new addition to the celebrated franchise.
In “Dead Rising 3’s” online co-op mode, you can take on the zombie horde with a friend over Xbox Live, with the ability to hop in or out of each other’s game at any time. When playing in a friend’s game, you’ll not only help them advance, but also contribute to your story progression and earn experience points that carry back into your own game. Any mission you finish in a friend’s game will also register as “complete” in yours, so you’ll never have to go back and replay a co-op mission to advance your single-player story, unless you want to experience it again.
Co-op players will assume the role of Dick, a wise-cracking trucker who sees the main character Nick Ramos as his best chance at getting out of the overrun city of Los Perdidos, and plays a key role in the “Dead Rising 3” story.
In addition to showcasing co-op, Capcom revealed Super-combo Weapons – a new tier of Combo Weapons that requires at least three components (and oftentimes multiple steps and blueprints) to craft, and features unique abilities that let you decimate crowds of zombies with devastating effect. Examples include the Ultimate Powershout, a deadly concussive horn made of traffic cones; the Ultimate Grim Reaper, a flaming scythe made of a katana sword, a scythe, a gas canister and a mask; and the Massive Bomb, a mini-nuke that obliterates every zombie in your vicinity – along with your clothes.
Not only are Super-combo Weapons ultra-powerful, but they can also be customized into a wide range of different variants with unique abilities. For example, the fan-favorite “Freedom Bear” from “Dead Rising 2,” a life-size stuffed bear turret armed with twin machine guns, can be customized into eight different variants in “Dead Rising 3” with modifications like grenade launchers, a push cart and a boombox lure to confuse the zombies. With hundreds of Combo and Super-combo Weapons, “Dead Rising 3” takes customization to the next level in the ultimate zombie sandbox and gives you and your friends a virtually limitless number of ways to fight back against the undead horde.
