The only map that was any good in the pack was Killhouse.  Only, it's not in most of the playlists. And I grabbed this when they had the last double EXP "weekend" when it was 400 points, and regretted it.  I even deleted it from my HDD.  Kinda too little too late discounting it again now.

I tend to agree with some of the sentiments that some of the old DLC should be available for free as a life-cycle for the product.  I've been spending the majority of my points on Burnout Paradise goods (which is ok, because it's less than a year old[the add-ons not the game]).  But for stuff like this, the old C&C maps, the Beautiful Katamari stuff, etc. - Is anyone still buying these?  I went through my games library a couple weeks ago and to get all of the DLC for the 80+ arcade/normal games I have, it would require over 40,000 Microsoft points.... that's a huge chunk of change when you factor in how much I have spent on the games themselves already.   Hundreds of dollars of DLC for games that are 2 years old or more.   Is anyone still waiting for that horse armor to go on sale?  I am waiting for Vader to drop in SC4, maybe some burnout or Civ Rev goodies, and a good arcade game dealie. Speaking of lifecycle though, I have to say, I don't know of many who wouldn't buy any arcade game at 200 points.  If some of the old ones with the straight 8-bit port with marquees dropped to 200 even for a week(though it would be nice if it were permanent), there'd be some hype.  DigDug, Time Pilot, etc.

why did this just some out now? would have been nice a few months ago. I wonder if Next weeks deal is a forza 2 car pack? or maybe some L4D crap that shouldve been free.

This is about the third time this has been on sale now. Why the hell do you still expect money for CoD4 map packs? Or CoD2. Or CoD3. - It's about time this map pack was free, like on PC. And the Left 4 Dead Crash Course should be free, like on PC. And the Mirror's Edge time trials should be free, like on PS3. And the Brutal Legend DLC should be free, like on PS3 (well, for a few weeks anyway). - See a pattern emerging here? Why the hell are we expected to pay more for the right to play on the console that WE ALREADY PAY TO PLAY ON? - Reward your loyal customers, Microsoft. Stop shovelling *** into our faces or some of us are going to look elsewhere.

Major: I'm a huge supporter of you and the 360, but Live really has to start doing a better job of getting us real discounts for the GOTY. While I'm certain that it's tough to convince publishers to cut into their sales, if the cuts drum up enough business they'll make that money back. Retail games that have been out for a year generally drop in price. Do the same for arcade titles.
