it might surprise me if Halo 3:ODST stays on that list. i have been keeping up with the number of people playing per day on bungie, and the past couple of days it has been down 50% or more, the previous week averaging around 250,000 ppl per day, however this week is averaging a little bit over 100,000 ppl per day, yikes, but the halo 3 numbers are just the same

It's a great time to be a gamer. The top 10 will soon be shaken up. Dragon Age will hopefully get on there somewhere. It's a great RPG.

@DarkTear81 yeah, i play halo, but you can't call me a fanboy, in case your blind, you can also see that i have and play both call of duty games, along with gears of war, GTA, and madden, so i don't just play halo, and many ppl besides me find it really fun (or else why would it even be in the top 10 much less #1), so before you go saying im a fanboy, or some1 say my opinion is biased, i have played all the major games and i really like them all, i can say bad things about all of them, and i can say really good things about all of them, but overall its just the love of the game that draws me back and i also played the L4D2 demo and thought it was awesome, i wouldn't be surprised if the demo cracked the top 10

As far as the Indie Games go, I can't believe Avatar Golf isn't ranked higher, this is the best 400 MS points I have ever spent.

Nice to see magic the gathering on the arcade list even though majornelson didnt advertise the expansion pack DLC recently ( he never misses spamming us with rock band crap though )

I have lost all interest in the top 10 list for live titles. Maybe something notable happens when a BIG game hits but for the most part it just serves to show how dull and entrenched the community has become in their play habits. As others have said here, a top 20 would be preferable.

A lot of interesting stuff here! -No doubt that MW2 will be #1 for a long time, but I'll be really interested to see if WAW or even COD4 remains in the top 10. -I played the L4D2 demo last night and it was fantastic. Can't wait to see if the demo breaks into the top 10. -Really surprised to see Magic:TG still selling so well. -How long will ODST remain in the top 10? Most people have finished the campaign. Firefight is all sorts of awesome, but not exactly the most accessible.

@nawlins08 Oh, we have no right to diss Halo? Ooook, seeing 3 Halo-Games in you list I might think you're a fanboy who is just angry his "lovable" game isn't on the top spot. I played Halo 3 for a while when it came out. The Singleplayer was kinda lame (storylike) and the MP was awful. Back then I found it quite unbalanced that everyone shoot at someone else one or twice and then smacked them in close combat. Something that worked better then just shooting... That's why I turned away from it. The only good thing about Halo3 were those massive community tools with vid-sharing and such. Would love to see that in every game. hehehe

for all the ppl dissing halo, you have no right to diss halo, maybe its because you suck at it or your favorite game isn't number 1, just get off it, its a great game, and so is most other games, i have never had any more laggy games in gears than i have in halo or call of duty for that matter, and MWF2 will take the top spot, and for quite some time, halo 3 will start battling for that top spot sometime in the early spring, and probably hold it through summer till halo:reach
