This demo sucks.

After a 3 hour download.

The first opening CG starts skipping and the 360 locks on BSOD ASAP

Second try, Reboot, I get to race a singleplayer, time trial. Finish, go two miles, see my first Online competition and bamn, it locks again.

10 minutes later I get a message from a friend. Did the demo crash on you. YES..lol

Nice testing MS.

That demo is f'ing amazing!!!

I couldn't believe the graphics! Damn right i'll be buying this title when it's released.

Don't know why all your 360's are crashing, because mine hasn't once!

I also can't wait for DEAD RISING!!!!

know its wrong place to post this but Major Nelson please take two notes and forward to ur peeps at Ms n all your game developers.

1. Can game developers remove timers from demo's. It sucks and makes people hate the game before it comes out. Test drive unlimited demo is cool but why do u have only 15 mins to play the game, it sucks, i mean they only gave us 40km n a few cars, dats enough. No need for timers, beside we were told the demo was going to be huge, it very very limited due to the timing, infact way too limited to feel anything about the game which brings me to my second post

2. when they post demo's they should make them showcase the game's gameplay. An example, when i played graw's multiplayer i wasnt too impressed. But when i played the single player demo aha! thats where i saw all the cross-com tech and now im drooling and waiting for the months end to get my pay so i can buy the game. Demo's need to showcase what the game is all about. Test drive again fails in this department.

I love it. Only crashed once (but its an e3 demo, so no biggy) in about 10 goes. Just managed to get online and been playing with some others. Is it me or do the police not come when online? I was causing havok.

Loved the demo but... its been freezing my xbox about 20 times. Sometimes as soon as I got on the road, and sometimes in the middle of a race. Noticed it mainly happend when other online players were around. :(

Ow well thank god its just a demo, lets hope the fix it though :x

Other than that quite nice, not as good looking as PGR3 (not even close) but the size of it and concept of single/multiplayer makes up for it.

The freezing completely ruins this otherwise good game with definite potential. After the tenth successive freeze (seemingly at random) i deleted it.

Im must say, im quite dissatisfied... they talked at X05 how they use less polys than PGR3 and get a better look, but they dont.

I mean the road textures are pure CRAP, the textures on signs rasterize waaay to late the blur effect is overdone, much like need for speed... brakes are too good, and i think PGR did a better job of handling... like if you took all the bad parts of all 3 of the PGR handling system and put them together, it would be better than this

and still no bmw's

and i figured out how not to make it crash well two actually...

the easy one is not to start it up

the other is disconnect internet from your 360, and turn on, make sure its not signed into live, when you start up game, make sure you dont mess with settings, and you cant use the manual transmission... and it never crashed when i had it that way

The game froze on me twice. I then put my BF2 dvd in and it says "please insert this disk in an xbox 360". WTF? After another reboot all worked fine. Let's just say I was afraid that the demo fubared my console. Needless to say I've deleted it.

Hmm i played this a few times it is pretty good but as it states it is still early code, therefore i do not see the freezing too much of a problem.

But yeah it is a pain lol.

inconsistent gameplay,
and horrible graphics for "NextGen" gaming
This should be on the orig XBOX only.

NOW we get to hear Major talk on his next podcast about how difficult it is to get all the technology working together at the same time....BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.

Well, I think this game has a good idea going, but I also getting the freezing problems like everyone else, at least when online. This game will really push the servers to the limit. I hope that this game succeeds, it has me interested.
