I have a hard time beleiving CH isn't doing well. I spoke to a couple of EB and Gamestop guys who said they can't keep the game on the shelves.

The reason they are releasing the content is because of all the issues players have been having.

The online version of this game is highly addictive and incredible. How anyone could give the online less than a 9/10 is beyond me. However, the single player is definately lacking. Unfortunately 40% of 360 owners aren't online. I am sure that is why the reviews haven't been that great. If you have Live, this is one of the top 3 live games right now out there. As far as free content. Awesome, however Major has nothing to do with what content is priced. I say this not to take away credit, but to educate those who piss and moan on here all the time about what things cost. Major is just the messenger. Don't shoot the messenger.

I 100% agree with Rust. How amazing this game is, specially online, yet some reviews hated it. TeamXbox and GameSpot reviewed it fairly high however.

I, myself, me, would rate this 9/10. its fantastic. People that havn't played it, should do, before passing judgement or comments.

In truth CHROME HOUND sales have been respectable. Nothing ground breaking - but good. IE: go to the CHROME HOUND web page and there alone you can see how many people are participating in the REAL TIME PERSISTANT WAR (IN THE MILLIONS). That # does not include those playing on FREE BATTLE or the single player. It an awsome ONLINE GAME...no bs!

Chromehounds Real reason for early DLC??

I fear this content was ready and waiting for a LATER release to charge money for it IF the game sales were as successful as they hoped it would be.

But releasing it now only ONE WEEK after launch tells me that the game had CRAPtacular sales. Which sucks becasue this game ROCKS! Go CHROME HOUNDS!

I hope I'm wrong. This game is way better than I originally expected and I hope more people discover how cool this game really is.

I have to buy Chromehounds still I just bought Prey and love it. I hope Chromehounds is good because I love mech games.
