That is just stupid. That's like after they lower prices of games from $49 to $9.99 that they are just going to give you $40 back. Idiots."

It's NOTHING like that. That's a store with constantly changing prices, it's expected over time. This is the Marketplace, which is controlled by Microsoft - they know exactly what's happening with it and chose not to tell us about this.

re: The Outfit: 'Collateral Damage Pack'

"refund?!? why would they get a refund? It has been that way with almost everything on live since it started Halo maps anyone? and many others!"

Actually, the Halo 2 maps are the only ones that were made free, and Bungie explicitly TOLD everyone that after a certain date they were going to be free.

I know a guy that bought this map-pack YESTERDAY for 500 points, utter cretins whoever made this free have been by doing this. They should have put a note up saying that it would become free on a certain date, now there's disgruntled customers who feel they've been shafted and won't be buying anymore premium content.

"Purchasing things on a market is a gamble. Prices always change" - what has changed price? Nothing has changed aside from this and the Halo 2 maps, so no, prices don't always change.

re: The Outfit: 'Collateral Damage Pack'

This is great, my friend and I just bought this game (and thanks major, your going on and on about it actually turned me on to this game in the first place, and we love it) and now we have some new maps to play. Maybe we'll even have a chance now since we seemed to play against people that already know the maps way better than we do. The one thing I would suggest would be if they could have notified people ahead of time, so people could choose whether they wanted to wait or not. I understand their profit margin woudl go down if this was public knowledge, but it just seems like the right thing to do, give people the choice. Just sharing my opinion. Thanks again.

re: The Outfit: 'Collateral Damage Pack'

Why is this download not available in Germany? You can pay $400 for a console, $150 for 3 more wireless controllers, and $200 for 3 games and 5 bucks worth of D/L is worth rioting over?

I suggest that all of you complaining morons take Econ1A (assuming some of you crybabies are out of diapers and can enroll in a community college).

There is a nice little equation called marginal cost = marginal benefit. If it wasn't worth 500 points 2 months ago or even worth 500 points yesterday you dont pay for the damn content. If it was, you pay for it - end of story.

Secondly, there is a market economy called capitalism. Relic does what it must to be profitable. If sales on Outfit slow down or less people are playing it online, Relic has to make adjustments and making content free NOW to achieve those aims is within their right.

Thirdly, there is also precedence for this type of discount. Halo 2 Map Pack anyone? Anyone who paid 19.99 for it at the time honestly feel jipped?

Fourthly, pay attention to the comments made earlier.
You buy a game at a computer store for 40 dollars and tommorow its 20, do you ask for a refund? What if it was free after rebate? Or just free period?

Lastly, how about you all have a healthy helping of STFU. Apparantly it takes only a slight bit more effort to make retarted posts on an Internet blog than breathing air.

re: The Outfit: 'Collateral Damage Pack'

Sucks for the ones who paid for it... Purchasing things on a market is a gamble. Prices always change, and there is nothing you can do about it. Oblivion I picked up at full price and haven't regretted it at all. Burnout Revenge and The Outfit were 49 bucks Canadian when I bought them, so I'm glad. I know the price has dropped on the games now though, but it's all well and good. I wonder if there are going to be anymore downloads for Burnout Revenge though. A new track or two would be great. I'm surprised that I like this game as much as I do, given that I'm not very good with other driving games.

re: The Outfit: 'Collateral Damage Pack'

Actually this is my favorite game and I have had a bunch of games. It only works like that in very few cases. There rarely is a product out there that people want so much that the seller can affort to say that it's going to be free or have a price drop at a certain point. So, the seller has two choices: either lose sales to those who'd rather wait, or not say anything until the price drop occurs. Grow up, people, and stop whining. I welcome the price drop and would not mind seeing more of the like for content that is not being bought anymore
