meh, i think i'll pass. I dont like football here in the UK so im not gonna like men running around a pitch with a ball in their hand. Granted, american football does look more interesting than our football.

Do you think you might be able to get someone from EA to answer why they do not include the features they have had for years on the current gen game on the 360 games. This has happened no every game they have put out for 360. (Madden, NCAA, Tiger Woods Golf, etc.) This is a joke!

Played the Demo. Plays exactly like all the other Maddens. I won't be buying it. I don't care about any extra modes. I just wanna play some ball. Anyone for some online Madden 2006? I agree the 2K games were better.

And this wasn't the first play of the opening drive. I said 53 yards, meaning they ran a few plays on me when I first kicked off. All runs too. Meaning Shaun should have been fatigued somewhat. But he's fresh as a daisy (full bar) and outruns three other non-fatigued guys. I know what a break-away is, but this to the text definition of what was reported as a "bug" in the first place. I might suck at tackling, but even a highly-paid rapper would have had the same issue. I honestly thought you could read between the lines; but when that reading is just to smark off on someone, meaning kind of takes the back seat, huh loser? Punk a$$ chumps like yourself hold no meaning to me. You think you can come here and smark off on me? Try again little boy. You are just a buttsore little Madden smark who can't stand the fact that a two year old game has more of a following than your precious status symbol called Madden 2007. And it is still a better game. Here's a little napkin for that tear kiddie... Here, try this: take $60, and BURN IT. That is pretty much what you do each and every year and the price keeps going up. DAVID = Matt Paprocki? Wouldn't surprise me. His "significant male other"? Wouldn't surprise me either. A good Madden game? NOW THAT'S A SURPRISE! @SidearmS I don't think you understand what the fatigue bug is. All it entails is that as the players fatigue the bars don't go down. On the opening drive no one is fatigued. And you must just suck at tackling. oh and props on your RANDOM capitalisation of WORDS it really helps the reader PICK up your emphasis.

Yes, he is talking about Madden. I know... And no, the NFL2k5 requests will not stop. Because it is the best FB title this decade so far. It was the game that made EA crap its pants and run to the vault instead of MAKING A BETTER GAME. It was cheaper, cleaner, more immersive, and the "Life" mode for the game is still one of the best out there. It had no "special editions", and ESPN is better represented in 2k5 than in this years Madden. I could care less about Tiger winning a golf tournament WHILE I AM PHYSICALLY PLAYING A GAME. That is the wrong kind of immersion. Because that dumb ESPN mobile ad is just right around the corner. you know it, I know it. But then again, I also feel that ESPN peaked a few years back anyway. Now it is just as worn out and trendy as hip-hop is now. Just a joke. And yes, I played the Madden 2007 demo. And that fatigue bug reared its ugly head on the first drive. I had Shaun surrounded by three full gauged guys, and he somehow blew right by them for a 53 yard run. I hope that patch comes soon. Graphically, it does look nice, but the gameplay is a$$. And it is called Madden but no Madden on commentary. Explain that? Not even Al Micheals?! Explain how that got passed up over for in game stat line that will soon be ads-for-their-phones. Oh wait, you can't make John or Al pitch a product because that would kill the experience in seconds. Maybe that is one of the big reasons 2k5 lives on. It HAD Chris Berman in his normal role, it HAD an ESPN annouce team in their normal roles. John has no commentary on the 360 version. And he didn't have it on 06 either. Yet this is supposed to be more immersive? Nope, people pick up on it almost immediately, which is not what you want your gamers doing. And I can throw the ball to my fellow gamers in 2k5. I can't do that in Madden. So until actually pulls the LEAD OUT OF THEIR CFO's a$$, and puts out a better title than this yearly update crap, the comparison will keep coming. Because simply put, NFL 2K5 is the game that made EA blink. And no matter what ANYONE says, that is the TRUTH. And finally, for that quote above... ...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA That's it.

I'm soooo tired of reading comparisons to NFL 2k5. Get over it. NFL 2k5 was two years ago and not even that great. The defense was terrible. The first time I played it I ran for like 250 yards in my very first game.. and I barely knew the controls. Madden was a much better game even in that year. If we want to talk about the best ever, the best football game of all time is the original NFL 2K for Dreamcast. But do I sit around groaning about Madden saying how it's not as good as that game? Hell no, it's 2006. I want a new challenge with new gameplay, not the same old game. Plus, I won't play last gen games anymore. I bought a 360 and I want 360-caliber high-def games. Madden 07 actually gets more fun every time I play it. Take what you will from it, download the demo and decide for yourselves, but let's give up the 2K comparisons. It's so old.

This is definitely the prettiest but least fun demo I've played so far on the XBOX. After my first attempt at playing the game resulted in 3 penalties for unexplained infractions - no, garbled referee declarations are not good enough - and the initial two plays where I had control of the ball being penalised for taking too long because it tells you every button you can press EXCEPT the one to just start the play...<br>A second attempt, after looking at the controls list in the menu yielded slightly better results. I managed to tackle someone! Pity I have no idea what button I pressed to make it happen. Or if it was a result of a button at all. The rest of the game seems to pretty much play itself...<br><br>Oh and to the developers of the game - 20-30 seconds of menus and standing around followed by 5 seconds of chaos as guys bump into each other with virtually zero intervention by the player makes for a really boring experience. Especially in a demo where the limited playtime means you get all of 3 plays per quarter. Atrociously poor execution. This is the game "everyone" raves about?
