i bought this game when it came out. played the amazing single player game. logged online and realized i should have just rented. two online modes, lots of lag, and few maps. i would have liked it better had it not had online because what they put out just screamed lazy and disappointed me after the great sp. if u cant take the time or get the money to make both a single player and mp quality experience, just make one exceptional experience. dont make a short sp so u can make a half *** mp. do one, perfect it, and forget the othe. i hope they the sequel is something like an mmofps. i think fps need to evolve to mmos and stop just giving us more graphics. enhance our gameplay tenfold please.

I'm happy to see some good free content again... it reminds me of Rainbow Six days on Xbox 1 :) I just found this game on sale at Best Buy for $45 and picked it up. I hope the online isn't as bad as everyone says. Hey EA, why don't you use some of those bajillion dollars to make your games work online with XBL and give us some free, good content instead of charging for ads and tips. Make a yearly game for $30 instead of $60 and I'd buy it. Oh yeah, I have to end every post with "Where's the larger HDD?"

When I first got the game it had to much lag but I dont lag much anymore. Its a good game just hard for me to dust it off and put it in. I have got addicted to Test Drive lately I cant belive test drive got such a low score. I think I spent 10 hours on it yesterday I look like a zombie now. Anyways thanks for the free content I will try to check it out.

Yes!! Free content is always good and I definately applaude the developers and publishers for making this content available at no charge! Prey is a great game apart from being a little short, I mean come on the game has Art Bell in it!!! How can you not love that!!!

I thought Prey was highly underrated personally. The graphics, atmosphere, wall walking, and portals combined nicely to create an excellent first person shooter. I understand how some of the more hard core gamers may have found the death mechanism a bit too easy, but that's really the only quibble with the game. The single player portion of the game anyway. The Live multiplayer is unusable. I don't understand why so many games which work so well over PC on the net, turn into syrup when they hit the Live plumbing. Heck, even the arcade version of Doom is sluggish over Live. This is something MS really needs to address with their developers because too many games are suffering serious issues with Live, and Live is the 360s strongest selling point over its competitors. As for the topic at hand, major kudos for the free multiplayer maps!

Holy Crap! Free!!! Thank you 2K games and 3D Realms(I think) what a way to show massive community support. Now if only the other companies can do this every once in a while like Rare and Relic does.

JamesBee I do understand what youre saying and Id hate that if it happened to me. I completed Prey in 48 hrs both normal and cherokee an after that I played it online non stop for at least a week with only 1 laggy experience. M$ has always told me its down to the host connection when games get laggy. Im on 8mb bb and never hosted a laggy game.

If you think this is "good" come on. 6 multiplayer skins? How could they charge for that? Don't hold your breaths on the patch, this is 3drealms, the game came out 10 years after the announcement (which was a year before Duke Nukem Forever's announcement) You'll be lucky if anyone sees a patch before next year.
