There will be more stuff then what you see. I love everything about the new splinter cell. It is not really that hard to get into a match as long as you do quick search. Custom Search will not work as well. I managed to find about 5 games in a row. And I got to play in most of them. It is not microsoft's Fault at all. It is more of ubisoft.

re: Demo: Splinter Cell Double Agent Multiplayer

Ummm... hang ups... and no cancel, and no create match, and no list of available matches. :( I have been waiting 2 hours now and no game...

(BTW original Splinter Cell is the best - #2 levels were not even cool.. #3 was a great game - #4 demo sux... actual game equal or better than #1?)

re: Demo: Splinter Cell Double Agent Multiplayer

This is great news but I can hardly get in a game...

It hangs up at "joining a session", I get "host ended session", "couldn't join session" or I'm told I've been "kicked by host"

When I do get in a game I have to wait for the host to start, often they'll quit or take so long everybody leaves :(

It's a shame there isn't a "dynamic host" system so the games ends whenever the host wants

re: Demo: Splinter Cell Double Agent Multiplayer

I've never played a SC game before, but after playing online for 4 hours last night I'll be picking this up at launch.

re: Demo: Splinter Cell Double Agent Multiplayer

Hey o Ice how do I change that setting?

Then I realised I still have my old copy from my Xbox, which u can get for about ten quid and it runs on the 360, so there is always that to fall back on. I am really looking forward to SC:DA one player mode as this series was what made me buy an Xbox in the first place. Ok so a lot of you don't like the multiplayer but having seen the videos of the single player I think it's worth remembering the days before online multiplayer games. Seems like a solid one player experience so far. I do agree the omission of Co-op is unforgivable though. I'm gettin rather tired of seeing next-gen games with less content than their previous-gen counterpart. It's worng when we are having to pay more money too, then more for any extra content (new clothes in Saints Row? stuff like that should be free FFS!) Anyway lets just wait and see if Ubisoft can deliver with Rainbow Six Vegas, then I will be happy.

re: Demo: Splinter Cell Double Agent Multiplayer

This demo broke my 360. :(
The video went out when i was trying to watch the Merc. videos.

Now i have to send it out for service.

I was really looking foward to buying this game.

IMO the simplifying it down to it's essentials without the mad tools for both parties is a great improvement. nice visuals too - hacking tool on forearm is nice.

my probs with lag usually ended with one of the players (obviously the one with the slow connection) disconnecting and then all played well.

admittedly did have probs joining a lot of games and getting kicked, but 1) this is a demo (thanks Ubi for releasing it) and 2) the people doing the kicking are players, not Ubi.

my thoughts for improvements - add a cancel button to the game joining screen!

overall pretty impressed. i was not a great fan of the original vs, but will definitly be playing it now with double agent.

re: Demo: Splinter Cell Double Agent Multiplayer

I was getting the same problem where I would be stuck on the loading screen but I fixed it. I changed my modem settings so that the NAT for the 360 said 'Open' instead of 'Moderate' or 'Strict', and now it works perfectly. I get into every single game and the laggy POS is now replaced with smooth lag-free gameplay.

Now that I fixed this issue I give this game a solid 10/10. Great fun. I'll pick it up for sure.

re: Demo: Splinter Cell Double Agent Multiplayer

This to me is what seperates the good developers to the great ones, know when you show or fold a product, in the case of the demo folding... or a least waiting until some issues were fixed would have been a good idea. It's just not a good idea to give people a reason to mistrust this game.
