From the Beta FAQ

I've heard the beta is US only. Is this true?

We are currently accepting applicants from all over the world - no US restrictions - so do sign up. While we can't guarantee that we'll have a lot of non-US participation in the early part of the beta, non US participation will be happening at some level.

US only - right, well that's 15 minutes of my life i wasted Tuesday then. If its US only why does it let you pick other countries at sign up.

Once again, please please sort out this 'US ONLY' crap. I know its not necessarily related to this Beta, as its only a beta anyway but other things, such as video marketplace and other marketplace content being US only is really annoying, considering we have to pay much more for the service over here.

Dam so no testing this on Vista then and why only US testers :S in the internet and XBOX LIVE world wide or am I missing something.

I think Microsoft need to look at what USA get compaired to the rest of the world and strat giving out discounts as the servers is not the same :(

Oh yeah i like how they say only for US citizens a day after i registered! I bet loads of other people did too, why give the option for other countries if it's just the 'good ol' US. FFS, and its gonna be another year before they get the video marketplace over here.

It just keeps saying "Service Unavailible" for me :-\ I wish it was more like the betas @ playstation.com because the just randomly choose people who have registered their console(s) and usually are in the GAP. Oh well, I'll just wait for retail.....then wait till the price drops.
