Now when I finally get my power supply back, I can find out why Gears in always on top.

Too bad I'll likely get my butt handed to me quite a bit since everyone else has had time to master the game, while I have been waiting over a month to get my console back...

Glad to see my current online favorite, COD2 is still on that list as well...

Still no Viva Pinata?! I've been on that game all week! Might put Gears of war in later though, I've STILL not completed it.

Here's the proof that people are sheep....Gears of War. The hype machine takes over. Seriously, that game's duck and cover system is BROKEN. Not completely but enough that it annoys the hell out of me.

Plus are people just playing WAR in COD 3 cause that game sucks too. I'm glad to see that Infinty Ward is making COD4.

How come nobody is playing Dead Rising? I swear the average vid game consumer is an R-TARD.

Couple thoughts: I would love to register officially for this site and have the gold box around my posts, but as I've stated in the past: too many hoops to jump through. Why does it become progressively harder? Go to Bungie's site, now you need Windows Live ID; last year, want a gamer-tag, oh you need a Hotmail account? It's all such a hassle sometimes.

I guess you could draw some parallels to the messy marketplace and the duplicity in the Live lists, and extend that out further to the troubles in cusomer-support and beyond. I think a little corporate discipline and simplification (on the consumer-side) could go a long way. Ever seen that video on youtube where they show what would have happened if Microsoft designed the box for the iPod? I feel like my experience with Live is becomming like that video. It started off simple and good and now its getting bloated and complicated.

I apologize in advance for the block of text, but I don't think this blog posts correctly via Safari. Same with the official forums last time I checked. Peace.

I'm with VillaMan. I would caution the Major against snide, sarcastic comments toward paying customers, whether the comments be deserved or not. When it comes to matters dealing with the business which employed you, it's usually best to at least pretend like you're a professional and not another one of these 15-year-old kids.

So, was it the fall update, Major? Is that why my console's dead?

Why do all you idiots defend Major? He is a Microsoft employee and an ass kissing one at that. He is one of those guys that every office has "A yes Man" I would have more respect for the guy if he stood up for himself and the people he is allegedly representing by admitting that the update bricked all these consoles. I noticed one guy here made a mistake regarding the top 10 live games, and Major jumps down his throat, and all you idiotic fan boys cheer the Major for putting a customer down!! The Major doesnt have the balls to comment on negatives towards MS for fear of losing his job, I for one would rather have no job and keep my self respect So come on Major tell the truth and earn the respect of thousands.

BTW my console isnt broke (yet) only no VGA.

Wow...all I was saying is that it's not that big a deal to register, and if you want anyone to really take you seriously you won't "hide" behind an unregistered user name. If you look through the past few days post you will see the exact smae post, from the exact same unregistered names, over and over and over, and to them I say take it somewhere else. As for PS3's bricking, unfortunately there is no "Major Nelson" site for the PS3, and no one blog, but a simple goodle search on "broken PS3" brings up quite a few responses, and I know two people here in town who received DOAs as well. Like I said earlier, there is no "outcry" because about 20% of the retail PS3s are still being sold for the 2nd or 3rd time, and there are actually not that many PS3s out "in the wild". Everyone is focused on Wii remotes breaking TVs (which is kind of isolated, with over 1.2 million sold, and the bricked 360s (still a small number when you factor in the 8 million out there) hoping everyone will assume the PS3 has no problems. I have three 360s (2 Premium and one Core), all made in 2005 and purchased around launch time, have all the updates, don't run fans or anything special, and have had no problems whatsoever, and only know one physical person who had an issue, and that was more precautionary, rather than a "brick". Yes things break, especially electronics, and it's too bad when it happens, but don't come crying for sympathy anonymously...what is the point, anyhow? MN is supposed to magically know who you are and will jump right on the phone to fix your problem?? I'd don't think I called anyone a liar, but hey, who can be the judge, since you are unregistered and no one can fact check. I'm registered, and if you look at my gamercard you might find that "owning 21 retail games" doesn't impress me all that much.

I'm fairly certain Polyh3dron was making fun of the registration system, not you. When you register for the site, you have to submit the registration, change your gamerpic to this pink hair anime girl, leave it that way for an hour I think, and then come back here or submit an email. I'm not certain about that last part, but calm down b/c he wasn't attacking you.
