Oh and one more thing - if you're looking for a pure flying game like Blazing Angels, this isn't it. In fact the gameplay for any given role (piloting a sub, flying a plane, etc.) isn't spectacular. But taken as a whole (including the RTS element) it provides a pretty cool gaming concept.

Beta 420: It's kind of a cross between an RTS and an action game. You control your production line (what boats, planes, submarines, etc. you want to build). You also control when you want those things to launch and where you want them to go. You can also jump into any given ship/plane/etc. and pilot it.

It takes a while to get the hang of but I'm just getting into it and it's fun. It reminds me a lot of The Outfit. Steep learning curve, but innovative game play.

Maybe Major can do a show on this game to help us all get started with the concept.

I think that the game is a great concept ecxept for all the buggies that i seem to get with it. I have yet to be able to complete a game without locking up my 360.

I honestly have not had this much fun with a game ever. I have played this demo for literally over 20 hours and not a hint of bordom. If I can play one map with only hand full of vehicles avaliable and have ever game feel different. I can only imagine when the full version comes out with many maps and over 120 vehicles.

Crazy. I cant wait for this game. I would say right now Best RTS strategy ever made on a console. Plus a added fact that if you want, you can jump in on controlling the action. If you don't want to then just hand out orders.

been loving the demo, only gripe being i always got aircraft and control both carriers/ports if possible - so with the huge amount of aircraft to command i spend most of my time in the map mode sending them about, which is great except you receive no score at all unless your actually preforming the kill in the aircraft ( how stupid, your bombing the carrier with 9 torp bombers and you need to be in exact control of the one that drops the killing torp to get any points for it )

frequently i sink both the usa carriers first, get one of the shipyards and whatever else - then come bottom with 0 points.

rant over! back to the pub with my mates (funnily enough we were all talking about midway tonight, hopefully msoft wont screw us over for matchmaking so we can make a clan)

i love the flying aspect but i yet to figure out how to get the submarine?

Its alot of fun, the battles will last over an hour sometimes.

This is the next game I'm going to buy. It rocks...although even just with the demo it is pretty easy to lose track of time and play for hours. Once I purchase the full game my family may never see me again.

Didnt really get into the game it self..... might give it on elast chance but having too much fun climbing the agency building on Crackdown ATM
