If the original Xbox Live customer support representative had given me my refund and her supervisor had been nicer to me, none of this would have happened (or at least, not yet until the next person to notice and do something about it) ;)

Microsoft double charged me last christmas for some MS points. I had to send a copy of my bank statement to get the money back.

It's not about whether or not we thought the price was "fair" with the tax we paid...it's about the legal taxes they could charge on digital purchases and avoiding costly class action later. iTunes went through this, as well as some phone companies who were adding extra tax to DL tones and wallpapers and stuff. It's all about CYA.

Its because they said that tax is included but it wasnt. They added it on. They misinformed the consumer. Its as if we payed tax twice.

If the refund is because the price included tax rather than breaking it out I don't want a refund. I bought the points, I used them and I am happy with my purchases and everything about the XBox experience to be honest.

Its not about 'Well they can afford it and I can't its nice to get money back'. The price is clear and I agreed to it.
