oblivion is a great example of what gamers should be paying for. were getting new content thanks to the hardwork of talented professionals, reward and reciprocity.

wtf should we be willing to pay for 50x50 pixels of something we can get off our computers?

its an insulting premise and if you habitually fall to its ploy then i pity you, and it has nothing to do with the expense of money.

£££££s again...the 360 is turning out to be a very expensive system to own.

and why are all these themes just changes in colour and backgrounds at least change the shape of the blades etc (as in the themes used in mc360..)actually make the dash look different.

and i totally agree with steve the gay donkey that we should be able to preview these properly fullscreen before buying them,not just see a few tiny pictures at the top of the page.

It is a bit odd that companies charge for these things. You're basically paying to turn your dashboard into personal advertisement.

It's unlikely that we will be able to have our own gamer pics as it would take too much man power to certify that they are acceptable. Why can't we have our own themes though? All they would need to do is have a "Set as Blade x Wallpaper" option on the images stored on a USB memory stick.

And to the people that are moaning about the cost - you don't have to buy it. I've used the PGR theme that came with my xbox since day one. I don't spend that much time on the dashboard anyway.

If PR wants to do a good job, they'll learn to release cheap or free content.

I think I want to work in PR, because today, all of them fail.....badly.....especially on a game that people are only excited about because of the Halo 3 beta.

I'm very disappointed at whoever markets this.

I like free stuff but I do not see why people complain , people pay for Cell Phone wallpapers and pics too you know.

But I do wish we could make our own and have it certified to use online.

Actually you are wrong about us being cheap. I refuse to pay that many points for a pic pack but that doesnt make me cheap - heck I've probably bough close to 50 thousand marketplace points since launch on top of buying every arcade game and retail game that comes out to north america. Yet by your definition I am cheap because i wont pay over 200 points for a picture pack?

Some of the best pics are out now (and free) in addition to a theme (didn't look at it, so I don't know if it's as good as the pics)...look under "new pics and themes" and "Shooter" (the new Mark Wahlberg movie).

Oh, and to set the record straight, while I do purchase a lot of pics and the occasional theme, I was not impressed with the selection for CrackRiot and will pass.
