Like this content wasn't ready when the game shiped, they just want to get more money out of us, I have loved being a 360 owner but am really thinking about getting a PS3, I have had 3 consoles break and not even a gift for the 6 weeks I had been without them, I am losing faith in M$ and its pricing policy is a joke, Epic wanted to give gears content free, M$ told them no people will have to pay for it. I have now lost all faith in M$ and will never buy any of there products again, it may not hurt bills pocket but M$ should care about there customers more than they do. If I was a boos of a multimillion doller company I would want to know why so many of my customer are unhappy, which there is alot more of then they will tell you. Time to sell my 360 and move to sony, oh and a few of my friends have done the same.

In the end, this is Tetris with really flash videos in the background, multiplayer support, and achievements; and in my (albeit brief) experience, plays a good game. Everything's really functional, and configurable, and you can set whichever videos you want (so the sped up traffic one, they showed there, I probably wouldn't opt for - far too distracting) but if you're soured on another Tetris, maybe it isn't for you.

If these were animated/videos for use as themes I would have defiantly bought them, fireworks or waterfalls in the background of the blades would have been cool and probably wouldn't have been that hard to do.

If companies released free themes that streamed video on the background of a theme then surely that would advertise the game better than just a being marketplace video it would be on constant show.

100 points for 1 set is poor,

anyone who has played the game will no ho wuseless they are.

Being honest if all where only 200 points (66 points a pack etc)

Then yes I might have considered it, But theres no way I'm going to pay 100 points for 1 set when theres alwready a dozen on the game,

I understand wher eprice complaints are coming from, Marketplace prices are nearing rediculous, and instead of doign the intelligent thing, dropping prices as a test and seeing how much sells, microsoft think there making the most money with stupid prices like this.

as explained 30 - 50 points can often make th edifferance on wether or not somebody will purchase the item, so why not give us decent prices, then... if sales pick up considerably, MS migh trealise they'll make just as much money by giving mor epeopl ewhat they want, (and keeping more custom, afterall a happy customer is a returning customer)

As for the B***ing.... WTF!!

We dont care if you want a Gaystation 3.

it's behind the 360, it always has been and it more than likely always will be,

But if getting a ps3 will stop you posting pointless whining posts, then go get one and keep these boards clear of your innacuracies.

I paid about £15 to import my copy from the US (love the weak dollar), works fine on my PAL 360. I think £15 was a reasonably fair price considering the cost of Lumines and that I can sell on Tetris when I've had enough of it.

I think the prices are about right considering the content but it sucks that there isn't a pack with everything in as an option with a healthy discount (try 30%), I'd consider getting it if there was.

To all the arogants,

We are not blaming Major for the content (even though you seem to think it is directly his fault that tetris content went up)

Microtransactions like this get stupid when its jsut a background, personally I think gamer pictures are ok-ish at however many points but some games pictures are like 160! its crazy

Don't flame the ps3 - it is a great console, just like the wii and the 360. Their equivalent of arcade titles are a damn site cheaper too

$30 for tetris? dude i'm in the uk and its like £20 (so thats $2 to the £1 atm making it $40 to you which in imo for tetris is too expensive)

lastly, whether you like it or not, the xbox360 in general is unreliable. YOUR xbox360 may be fine, just like mine, but consider all the 360s and its unreliable.

Also, all my friends who got launch consoles are beginning to have a lot of problems.

It is cheap, but when you add it all up so far it'll be 37.74 + tax and they will probably put more content out if this sells well.

MOST reviews gave this a bad score saying it should have been a 800 point arcade game to begin with so this makes it look pretty bad.

These pictures and skins COULDN'T have been hard to create and couldn't have taken more than a hour for anyone with ANY computer design experience.

Maybe if the prices were in half I'd get it all, as it stands now I might get one thing.

The Fireworks Background Set is tempting. Does it come with just one fireworks background or multiple backgrounds and are they in motion or just stationary?

I paid for the rainbow 6 red map pack because it was worth paying for, I support being charged for that, I dont support beig charged for the skinsand if you do you allways will be charge for it.

Thats what the middle bit of above post sort of said, I thought i'd post it because its missing.

This game IS available in the UK (There was some uncertainty over the PAL version, and, I keep seeing dollar signs in use, here. :) ) but, it's a GAME exclusive, if you want to give it a look for a penny less than twenty quid. It's out now.

I have this game for 1, so I have the right to complain that content is released in a very short space of time since the game came out, the time shows me that the content was probably all ready waiting when the game shiped. For 2, M$ controll the pricing policy simple as(ask epic)for 3, I have had 3 consoles in less than a year thats not good enough.

I paid for the rainbow 6 red map pack because it was worth paying for, and if you support being charged for skins and the like then it will always be charged for.

Just to clarifie something for some of the guys who have comented that its a money making buisness and you dont have to buy it sort of thing, I agree with you people, I agree if time and money has been put into something then I am happy to pay for it, this is more like something that was ready anyway and is just anotherway of getting money out of you, the $29.99 price tag is going to end up the $59.99 price tag when they have finnished. Remember for some of us its double, $29.99 for you, £29.99 for me thats about $60odd. I could finish by calling Matthew M G some names like he did me, but i'm bigger than that so i'll let him feel all cool and tough for saying I have no friends or whatever, Blah Blah.

Wow, so no matter what comes out for what price, I guess people will complain - it's $1 people - I spend $5 a beer and up to $10 for a drink at a bar with no reservations - you can't get everything in life for free. If you think it's worth it - buy it, if you don't - don't, simple as that...
