Is this actually out now? The first I heard about this content was a few hours ago and there is normally weeks of buildup for things like this....

Sorry, but this whole Paying for extra stuff REALLY is starting to rip the P*SS now. I JUST about fell for the old PGR2 Premium content line of "having to pay car manufacturers for use of their license" at £2.99, but when they started charging on Halo 2 for substandard maps, and golf courses on Links 2004, thats when they lost me a bit. Ok i admit I HAVE downloaded the original GRAW Chapter 2 pack (800 points when I dl it, and you got more in there), THEN realising you get it free on GOTY Edition, same with call of duty 2 I just dont bother wasting money on points now and would rather wait till they're free (GoW comes to mind, wait a few months and the maps are free)

Surely there must be some kind of Boycott we could do to stop this going too far, it'll work in everyones favour in the long-run

Rehashed doesn't begin to describe this. Yes, you can walk around in the maps. No, there's nothing new about them, save lighting.

It's the same geometry, same textures. For GRAW this would be fine; for GR2, however, this is not 2004. They're sparse and ugly. ****'s sakes, I have to deal with FOG again.

Here's the best rule of thumb on Marketplace content: Take what you would think would be a fair, reasonable price and multiply it by 150-200%.

Seriously, about 90% of everything on the DLC market is a total ripoff, from horse armor, to GH2 songs, to rehashed maps.

The sad part is, I don't even have the energy to get pissed off about it anymore, so I just quit buying everything.

I haven't had the chance to see these maps yet, but already I am excited to get them. I've read through all the comments, and you can tell most people aren't even really fans of the franchise. I've been playing GR for some time now, and the constant improvements over the years have been amazing.

Granted, it wasn't part of DLC, but Embassy is a remake of Embassy from Ghost Recon Island Thunder. It is also one of the better maps on GRAW2. The newer version of the map feels scaled better. Not to forget the fact that it all togther looks amazingly better.

People ask me what I like best about GRAW2, and I still can't get away from how wonderful the lighting in this game looks.

Anyway, I can go on and on, when all I really want to say is: People who play GRAW2 will buy this. People who pop it in every once in a while to kill time, will not. And to the people who do not think this is already known, you stand corrected.

BraveKid - there's not a lot of difference in the graphics. It's the same improvement you see in the Nowhere map: better lighting and shadow effects. The four GR2/Summit Strike maps on the other hand are a big step up in detail.

Now people are complaining just for the heck of it.7 maps for 800 points is a great deal.They brought these maps back for the community.This is what they asked for.When they charge too much people complain,when they lower the price people still complain.The maps are great.

I'd like to see if there is much difference between the "re-make" of the GRAW 1 maps, as opposed to the original GRAW 1 maps.

I'm sick of this Xbox Live nonsense of trying to charge people for map packs that would have been given away for free if this was a PC game. The same goes for $60 prices on games. PC graphics are easily on par with Xbox 360 games, and yet PC games don't all seem to retail for $60.

Like the Graw1 maps, sinced i never played any other GR game before it, but where is OLD TOWN that was probibly my most favorite map of all games. Screw Jungle Mines give me some OLD TOWN any day.

O and 800 points is not that bad. Plus how many people are playing Graw1 any more now that GRAW2 is out. Probibly not very many. Graw1 is dead in the water for multiplayer gameplay, just like many other old 360 games.
