The map is HUGE and I now understand why the download is 1GB. The map is a street to street fighting with plenty of buildings (I believe at least one was 4 stories high) for snipers. Actually, it's a sniper paradise. There are tanks and Jeeps on the map but don't just think that you can get into them and cruise around. The debris from the blown out buildings make it a slower ride. This map is better than any of the maps in the Valor Pack IMO and I cannot wait to play the other 4 maps.

The support gun is way more accurate than that sniper rifle, you can should a wasps penis from a thousand yards with that thing.

my solution is an update to remove the support gun cursor that way they have to use line of site and cant just rack up auto aim kills...it would certainly help.

re: Call of Duty 3 Bravo Map Pack

There are no way I am even going to think about buying these maps before I hear a perfectly reasonable explanation for the file size being nearly 1GB for 5 maps.

It sounds to me like Microsoft is having all their new content inflated in order to force people into buying the ridiculously overpriced 120GB HDD.

Makes me sick.

So...not only do I feel it's overpriced but I play a ton and will barely ever see them in ranked games. Releasing games with too few maps and then charging a lot for later maps means we mostly only ever see original maps...which frankly sucks since these are actually some decent maps.

#1 How much are they going to want for the complete Halo 3 (and don't you REALLY feel bad for the people selling out for the Legendary edition...they will be paying close to what a PS2 costs for one game on the 360. It makes me NOT feel like BUYing HALO 3. Hell I will just tell them I gave all my money to COD3 people....that will be sure to make M$$$ mad (Look I'm L337 AGAIN!!)

#2 What's to stop them from holding off on releaseing things that could just as easily be in the game (they already do it now anyway..."SAVE THAT IDEA FOR MADDEN '09"; I'm sure has been said around the water cooler many times at EA. Which means a crappier game for us because Developers can rush a game and tweak it later (which is becomming a trend in the industry.)

For all the people that complain about people being mad and 'outspoken' consider this, while everything else in price is skyrocketing, our wages still stay the same, while developers are sitting pretty at a 150% profit.

re: Call of Duty 3 Bravo Map Pack

Honestly, I would pay that price for these new maps... but firstly, I'd quite like to be able to play the original game properly, as post-patch I'm faced with 'game session no longer available' in every player game that goes over around 15 or 16 people.

So no new patch equals no more money spent at all.

re: Call of Duty 3 Bravo Map Pack

I would download these, but it seems I have a little more than 1.5GB on my HDD, which in turn will force me to pay $180 for an overpriced M$ 120GB HDD. At this rate, I'm gonna have to get a second job just to pay for my gaming needs :(
