Good to see the DiRT demo doing so well. Rightly so, considering how many tracks and cars you could mess around with - I might go as far as to say I preferred it over the Forza 2 demo.

Seems only Halo 3 itself can beat Gears of War to the top, though...

Why share that here? do you really think M$ give a crap? there just like every other company in this world today, if it breaks DENY everythig. All major companies seem to treat customers with contemt these days and they just DON'T care.

SOrry to hear about your 3 red lights, Try wrapping a damp towel around it and switching it on for 15 mins, sometimes fixes it.

Obviously we need to wait until next week or sometime after because both the Forza 2 retail version is below the DIRT demo and the Mad Tracks XBLA game is nowhere to be seen.

I know there are quite a few posts about no movie downloads for us in The Great White North, for those of you that don't know, Canada. Really though my question is, how do we get the ball rolling. I mean, who would I talk to to get things going in the right direction, so maybe one day we might get movie downloads on Marketplace. Where would a petition be sent, if signed by a multitude of folks. I know I am not the only one who wants this to happen. I hate the fact that people in Other countries have to find loopholes in order to get something they feel they are being cheated out of, I mean we are paying the same price as people in the U.S. for our subscriptions, and not getting the full deal.

Now I'm not complaining about what we do get, (well maybe except for the movie trailers that are on Video Marketplace, they are pretty old, it would be nice to have some current ones) I also know it is not completely Microsofts fault for the crappy situation, but what can be done about it, or what can the gaming community of Canada do about it.

Gears of War online team deathmatch is some of the best online gaming I've ever played and I've played them all since Doom1 over a LAN in 1994.

If it wasnt riddled with lag, host advantage, glitches map exploits it would be the best tactical straight forward team deathmatch available.

My all-time fave online games are:

1. BF1942

2. BF2 PC

3. GOW

4. CS 1.3-1.6

Halo does not make my list, I got tired of bunnyhopping railguns in Quake1 ten years ago.

The irony here is that because of Xbox Live, GOW returns to where Doom began over a decade ago; client-hosted games aka non-dedicated servers. Add the lack of proper client-side prediction and you are as old-school, grass-root basic as you can be.

I hope Epic puts the proper talent and money into GoW2 multiplayer so it can be played outside a LAN without lag.
