Some things I want to say...

I tested this game for months pre-release. Some of the developers are VERY good at the game, seeing as they went as far as to hire professional gamers to their staff to make sure the game is balanced. I trust 100% that the tips given by the devs in the video are truly useful tips.

That said and done, I won't be buying them either. Stop at Shadowrun.com and ask for advice; there are testers, developers, and good players on the forums giving advice to everyone. It's not necessary to pay for what you can get for free.

As for the game itself... A more casual gamer who doesn't focus on MP or who doesn't want a complex game probably won't like Shadowrun. However, if you like multiplayer games or you want a game that isn't "just another shooter" with a high learning curve and replay value, than Shadowrun is definitely a game you want to buy. There's so many different ways to play Shadowrun that the same map never plays the same way twice. Don't let the numbers skew the value of the game. if you're on the fence about it, I suggest a rent, not a buy; the demo doesn't do this game justice IMO.

I really dont know why, but They had/have these guides for many dif games.

It costs money to put these up. I guess someone is buying them or else they would stop selling them.

aceattorney hits the nail on the head. and for anyone who doesnt like shadowrun has either not played it/enough, or its simply not in their personal genre of entertainment. for example i did get my friend into crackdown who is a realistic sports freak. however i had to virtually drag him to download the demo for this game. he played one game and said lets play something else. we could argue price on this game all day long, however i dont mind it at its current retail. with all kudos aside i definately want some more content on this game. the levels arent played out yet, but the time is coming for content reflective for a mainstream pricetag of $60.00

I don't understand why people complain about ANY of the content released on XBLM because nobody is forcing you to buy it, it's simple if you don't like it don't buy it

It's costing them goodwill. Goodwill isn't money in the bank like a change they get from people buying these ridiculous movies; but Microsoft should consider the amount of money they're spending on marketing, and look at what gestures like charging for content that should be free, and charging full-price for a game that should be budget, work to counter their marketing investments.

Thing about it is that shadowrun is barely a game, no matter how much microsoft and fasa talk about cross-platform it is still an over priced game for what it is.

I am not surprised it is not already on the top 10 played list, but would expect it on there soon because of resemblance to counterstrike.

After playing the demo i did not like this game but to each their own.

I think this game would have done a lot better if it had a single player rpg game that shadowrun use to be.

@ VegazDragon, if you look at the top 10 games played list, you'll see that Shadowrun didn't make the list.

And if you look at many major reviews of this game, they harp on the price of the game.

Combine those two factors and perhaps someone should have realized that this content should be free.

Also, those who do play the game overwhelmingly think positively about the game...perhaps free strategy vids would help push people to buy the game.

Shadowrun cost me more than any other 360 game has. 70CDN$. It is fun, but has a useless manual, no single player campaign, and only 3 game types (that are truly 3 variations on one type).

FASA does NOT deserve another 100 pts from me for their 'time spent balancing'. they've already robbed gamers as it is.

I think the free demo is supposed to get people to buy the game. A free strategy video probably wouldn't help.

Not a bad price, but considering this title wasn't in the top 10...it probably should have been free to get people to buy the game.
