This is just ridiculous

I can't see why this doesn't get released anywhere else

It's an interview promoting a film....what "distribution rights" are there getting in the way of this?

Obviously Europe and the rest of the world aren't that important

Niiiice, more content for something thats going to get a worldwide release and the content only gets released in Canada and the US.

Not blaming you Major or Microsoft, its the developers/publisehers fault. It's just getting annoying seeing all this content being released on the US marketplace and us in Europe get very little.

NecronomiconUK, I see your point, but consider it this way:

You have gold which allows you to play other people over xbox live. Where do you think that money goes? After all, xbox live is a peer to peer network (no dedicated servers for playing online). So it is used no doubt for maintaining the content on that is on dedicated servers - mainly marketplace content.

Now consider that in the UK we pay more for xbox live gold than pretty much everywhere, but get comparatively no marketplace content to that on the US marketplace - which is in effect, subsidized by us chumps in the UK.

Seem fair?

And yet they ALWAYS make the effort for the USA. I mean, that's my real beef with the whole thing. They talk about how licencing and distribution red tape has to be cleared for all countries, so in effect they are just being lazy. If you have to do it for the US, then you should do it for ALL of your customers.

Transformers ! Downloads in disguise !

Yah, there are so many different laws in different countries about content in videos and video games (Germany, for instance, cant have RED blood in video games. Green blood is ok, but RED is not) I’m sure it’s difficult to make sure something that’s released doesn’t violate laws in ANY country.

Remember when we used to compalin about the Prey demo? Those were the good old days. Now no matter what it is, it's just post after post of "OMG i now mS lieing abut not europe, wy lie ms you hate ur custimers? Give me something for free" I understand people's frustration, but this is getting old.
