thank you so much. but i missed a lot without the video. so i downloaded it tonight on marketplace. that band at the beginning playing the halo theme was frickin awesome. sent chills up my spine. thanks for all of your hard work though major.

Microsoft let me down at E3 with the press conference and i am a huge MSan so it was sad when now when they finally have the console lead they don't do anything to make sure they keep it and there were no huge shockers, surprises or future titles aka 2008 talked about at the show. With X07 only a little bit away i believe they can make up for it but they need some big stuff there or Tokyo Game Show in order to get people back on there side because up to E3 microsoft was winning the console war but now its in jepordy and it kills me because i am an MS Fanboy but i am a gamer first and i want the best games and now except till the end of this year i don't know.

I dont understand why the IPTV wasnt shown or mentioned in the conference. Can anyone explain this?

Halo halo... blah blah blah... halo HALO... blah blah blah. HALO!!!! Halo? Halllllo!!!

I'm going to start a second listening to it and count how many times the word Halo was used. I know Halo does it for some people but not for me. Personally I can't wait until a few months after it's out so I can hear something different. And the Halo 3 special colored console? Are you serious? That's the surprise hardware announcement.

Can't wait for Ace Combat 6, Eternal Sonata, and Mass Effect. Glad to have actual release time frames for all of them now. The new trailer for Mass Effect looks awesome! I can't wait to watch it in high def at home.

No price cut? I sure hope they have it in the cards for the upcoming Christmas season. While the 360 is doing well now, I think they'll need a cut soon or else those numbers will start to suffer. The console has been out for three years by then. Don't get cocky Microsoft! This generation's battle isn't over yet by a long shot.

Also, no Metal Gear Solid 4 annoucement? I'm a saaaad panda! :-(

I realize they were focusing on stuff coming out between now and the end of the year but what's coming out after that? Hopefully as E3 goes on, we'll get some answers on that front.

Oh, and is there an update on IPTV?

Sonic the Hedgehog on XBLA? Yes, please. Bought and worth every one of the 400 points I just spent.

Overall, I give it a 3 out of 5. There just wasn't anything that I personally got all that excited for.

Great games, but...

No price cut? No HD DVD news? No HD DVD price cut? No new exclusives?

A $100 price cut on all SKUs and the HD DVD drive would have killed both PS3 and possibly Blu-ray and yet we didn't get it. All we got was to see games we already knew about.

I love my Xbox and my HD DVD drive, but this show was a disappointment.

Was it just me or was there a major Assassin's Creed glitch in which the dead body was floating in the air? And the frame rate for Creed and PGR4 looked crap. Or did it look better before G4 put their poison cameras on it? And Jeff Bell is a tool.

Seriously, it was more disappointing news than anything.

"Mass Effect will be in stores in... November!" Audience response said it all. Do we really need another November game when there is nothing good out now?

"Gears of War PC will have a bunch of stuff that 360 users will never see!!" Ok... so how is that good news?

"Oh, and here is exciting news. A Halo 3 360!!" He barely got a golf clap for that one.

Also, please don't let Jeff Bell speak again... ever.

Happy to see MSFT expand Video Marketplace. This is an unheralded area where the system is really shining. Also happy to see Europe and Canada finalized. With so much content being owned by US interests, I'm sure this was not easy.
