Don Mattrick consults for a while and then Peter Moore resigns unexpectedly. Don Mattrick is promoted to Peter Moore's position. Sounds to me like ol' Don positioned himself well and forced Peter out. The corporate world is not for the faint of heart. Later Peter.

First, we lose J. Allard to the Zune (sigh). Now we lose Peter Moore to EA. What? Now our beloved platform is fully in the hands of Bach, Kim, and Mattrick? I don't like these corporate types controlling the platform. I know Mattricks history as a developer so I'm willing to take a wait & see approach. But the whole Entertainment Division at MS is looking very "corporate" these days. They even introduce Kim at the E3 press conference as "corporate office" as if that endears him to gamers. Time to bring J. back.

All the best to Peter and his family. A brilliant ambassador for Xbox, its a tough job to be accepted by both business and the consumers but he did it with class.

Get the Formula 1 license and I might buy another EA game.

I can't blame peter moore if its more money and plus he will be close to home with his family and that means we should have better madden's and nba live's.
