Pretty cool about the HD DVD player price drop and free movies. Now if only we could convince someone to allow the player to play games too, we wouldn't have to miss out on that sweet Stanglehold Collector's Edition deal the competition gets.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter much to me since I am still planning on getting a HD DVD player and Stanglehold for the Xbox 360.

I wonder exactly what copyright/trademark/regional issues are served by this coverage of a *trade show* being US only?

As someone else said, the rest of the world reads and enjoys comics also. But as the presence of a video game crew at the show attests, Comic-Con is NOT just about comics.

*Sigh*

This continual US-centric myopia is going to kill interest in this great system, especially when as in this case, there is no good reason for it.

Or is there? Let us know.

Looking forward to a Looney Toons Demo. Trailers are nice but the game would be awesome!

I'll be at Comic-Con also.

Be sure to check out Mega64 booth. They do Video Game skits, and they're insanely funny.

Also check out the Capcom booth, they'll have loads of Demos to check out.

Are there any particular booths were you'll be making an appearance at? I'd love to get a picture.

I'm at Con. The Superman premiere tonight looks to be huge. Room 20 at 8:30 and again at 10:30. Also 300 on the jumbotron tomorrow night in Pedco (sp?).
