why doesnt the price drop affect people from canada too? were already paying much much more for the 360 because of the exchange rate.

IMPORTANT: DRM issues are still a major problem. Not just for people upgrading their consoles, but for people who had their consoles repaired back when they simply replaced busted consoles, not repaired them. This is a basic issue that needs to be addressed before anything else. Many of us still feel like we're getting a raw deal here. Quit ignoring the problem and fix it.

I hope the price of the 120GB hard drive comes down some too. $180 is quite a lot, especially now that the console prices have been dropped.

Great bit of PR there, really making all the other users who have finally been told that their 360 will die sooner or later, that they can still pay the same amount whilst the US gets a discount.

I've had enough of this crap - I'll be selling my 360 and getting a PS3 instead.

I'm so glad I've always used pirate versions of windows, I'd never want to give MS another penny.

So Halo 3 one is a premium at $50 more cause it is green?

MSFT screwed up on this IMO by NOT having the 120gig HDD in this. I would have bought it otherwise.

Anyone else notice if you buy a Core, and decide to get a hard drive later you end up paying more than the Premium? If you get a memory card, you might as well of gotten the Premium for just a few more dollars.

The Core SKU needs to either go, or the price dropped to make it worth buying.

@ El Cid. I'm with ya. Viva Pinata(a game that appeals to everyone more than any other Xbox 360 game - no joke!) and/or a memory unit(the 64 MB one so that customers can upgrade to the 512MB one the same way 20gig users upgrade to 120gig.)

@ Nightjar and IRB, of course i'd like to see the 360 cheaper here, and no im not rich, nor do I like paying high prices. Nightjar's point was that Microsoft are ripping the UK off, I dont agree, my point is that UK taxes are too high, and its the Government that's ripping us off. I dont really care what the rest of the world pays, I live in East London, sure it could be cheaper, but as it is I dont think its a rip off.
