Well,the buying power in Canada is said to be lower than in the US,so that's why you will not see a 1/1 conversion rate(most item range from being 10% to 30% more expensive here in Canada).

Pity no UK price drop, but then again i dint expect one here with the Elite being launched at end of month for £330 (USD $ 672)

Good job on the price reduction guys. Glad to see you haven't forgotten the Canucks who were getting raped on the excahnge rate. Now can you try to rectify the peripheral prices? 120g drives cost like 210 bucks over here. Games are like 70 bucks. and live points are often priced at 1400 for 25 bucks.

100cdn price drop is literally 96 bucks US drop. Which would make sense saying we are already paying more then 50 more with the exchange rate, so this brings it into check. Now if only they will adjust the price of the MS points, we are getting ROYALLY reamed now that the Cdn dollar has spiked so high...

Cant wait for the Euro pricedrop. And you WILL post the EURO pricedrop since, you know, its the currency of the (smart) nations of Europe.

Though with an exchange rate of 1.38:1 the euro price will still be painful.

Smartypants: Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Austria, The Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Finland, Ireland, Slovenia and Luxembourg.

Noncompliant rogue states (all monarchies btw): Sweden, Denmark, The United Kingdom.

The US price dropped by $50, the Canadian price dropped by $100. The USD is NOT 2x worth compared to the CAD. it's now currently $1.00 USD for $0.948 CAD (and this changes every hour, up and down and is expected to continue to rise until the start of the 4th quarter).

So theoreticly (if i spelt that right), even a $75 price drop would be inacurate.

But then I suppose I shouldnt be complaining... since this will get our other few friends to jump the bandwagon and get on.

You may want to research a little more, the Canada-US exchange rate has had many fluctuations, including at least one period where the Canadian dollar was worth more than the US dollar.
