I admire how you can play with a beach ball as your waiting for your stuff to upload. But is sucks that you can"t upload zip files that are over 50meg.

I am having problems viewing your screen-shots. Every time I get to the page with the two shots listed, it goes to some Windows Live ad and never finishes loading.

Whats the point in this? 500mb, is nothing these days, simply take a memory stick with you.

Religion Fails:

Bungie is already doing something very much like this within Halo 3. The session "video" recordings and levels you design on the console can be uploaded to Bungie.net to be shared. That's how you'll be able to play online in your own custom levels.

So the 360 obviously has mechanisms for doing this.

So, Major, could you pass on the word that backing up 360 game saves in the cloud is something we gamers *want* and (at least some of us) will pay for?

Hard Drives do fail and not all games let you back up to memory card.

I know this is inflammatory, but ANYONE who wasn't aware that services like this already exist is, well, pretty darn ignorant. I'll give you a hint - type "free online data storage" (with the quotes!) into Google. Thank the Major for pointing out 500MB of space? Have you ever bothered to search Google for something like this? And, just in case you actually want to see something that's reasonably cool (which I assume you don't), check out http://mozy.com. 2GB of Mac/PC backup space (with native software for each) and unlimited backup space for $5 a month per machine. Or, if you want even cooler, try the Gmail drive shell extension to use your Gmail account as a disk: http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm Really folks, if majornelson.com is where you get your news and stay abreast of technology developments you have an amazing case of tunnel vision.

Great! with any luck this will be faster than the .mac iDisk i use - which is so slow and painful to use that it regularly induces suicide.

Unfortunatly though, i don't apriciate the non-xbox related posts.

Personally, i don't want to read about all the 'new' OS branded technologies that the majors are copying off each other for they're own gain. I didn't realise this was a Windows marketing & communications outlet.

Isn't there a Windows blog for all that crap? Or does it only have half the readership?
