About Rumble Roses and the DLC.

First of all, RRXX isn't a bad game. Gameplay-wise, the PS2 game is better (and is THE BEST easy to pick-up and play Arcade style Wrestling game ever made. Seriously), but the 360 one added ALOT more features (PS2 game was 1 on 1 only).

The costumes, by the way, are actually pre-existing costumes. Specifically they're the default costumes for the OTHER characters. Buying them for $1 apiece makes them avalible to the rest of the cast of the game. Buying Reiko's costume, for example, allows you to dress characters like Aisha and Makoto up in Reiko's default outfit.

The "Shooters" and "R-Xpress" stuff is clan-based pallet swaps of the costumes. Shooters is orange with flames, Roses Xpress is hot pink, Athena's Clan is light blue, and The Dojo is forest green with afew symbols here and there. I tend to pick up the R-Xpress versions alot too :P

Now as for WHY? Believe it or not, fan petition. A bunch of RRXX fans got together and sent a petition to Konami requesting for DLC. Amazingly, Konami listened. Right now they seem to just be doing the easy stuff to see if anyone will actually BUY it (which they are). Hopefully if this stuff sells well enough they'll release actually NEW costumes and stuff.

I know at least one or two people that are buying every piece of DLC. Me? I buy a good chunk of it. We're all hoping that this will cause Konami to either mega-patch the game or make a sequel despite the game's small fanbase.

For the record, the game currently runs for $20 brand new at most GameStop stores. I say it's worth giving a shot as I like it more than any other wrestling game.

@CharmedPower: I still had the download from Comic Con on my HDD and went back and looked at it to compare and it was the EXACT same trailer HD and all so yeah believe it or not they released the same content twice.

Personally I don't know why they didn't state it but they couldn't just release two of the same versions if they did there must be a very good reason.

I own Rumble Roses, and we had to play the thing FOREVER before we got Aisha the title. That is the only achivement so far we have in the game...

I like it, and I do play it. But yeah, this is like 50 or so costumes now. So at 80 points each, well, that is one 4000 points card used up...

As for Bullet Witch, yeah, I like it too. GET PAST level one. The game picks up during level two, right after you meet that guy and have to run the street with monsters all over the place.

If you like Bullet Witch, spin Earth Defense Force 2017 a few times. Think a much harder version of the Bullet Witch gametype, but not so much memorizing. Also, I picked Wartech this week at CompUsa for $30 bucks and I hope it is good too.

Maybe because people in the UK and other countries couldn't watch "Bringing It Home: Comic Con" Content as it was US only.
