This should happen more often in my opinion. When content is released, you have to pay full price, but over time the price drops until it becomes free.

GREAT!!! I wish every game would lower or get rid of the price over time!!! I only wish there was a date released for when they would be free.

I haven't picked up LP yet, but this is increasing the likelihood that I will. Now if only the developers behind Shadowrun would get a clue. The game is fun, but it's wearing a bit thin. New content please!

Excellent news! Well done Capcom!

I will pick this up tonight. I paid for the first map pack and I got the second one for free. I have no problems paying for the first map pack and don't feel cheated at all. The developers/publishers deserved my hard-earned dosh as this is an excellent title. It certainly puts Gears of Bore to shame!

Content price-structured like this is the way forward.

I think something is being missed for those of you hoping MS or other devs would do this with their premium content. The Lost Planet and Rainbow Six Vegas maps are likely free because they are on other platforms for free or soon to be free, PC and PS3, respectively. The exceptions to this are cases like Halo 2 and Gears of War and some other Xbox 1 content that was later made free like Full Spectrum Warrior. It's done by publisher decision and I doubt it will become a trend, but still it is a pleasing thing to see happen when it does I'll admit. :-0

Great stuff from Capcom, other devs take note. Now if Realtime Worlds would make the Crackdown DLC free that would be swell.

Speaking of free maps, i was able to download the Halo 2 maps last night for free. I'm not sure what the name of it was, but all four packs were free? is this something you weren't notified of?

Hmm. Somebody could explane what to do in Multiplayer? :P... I dont understand the MP function anyways.
